installed bi-xenons finally!
). Anyone contemplating doing this upgrade should jump on it as its well worth it. I was expecting the low beams to be about the same as what I had but the bi-xenon headlights throw much more light out than what I had and when you turn the high beams on it's like a flood light from a cop chopper shinning down.....Yes, the Bi-xenons make more of a difference than I ever thought they would going from xenon to bi-xenon.

I agree with you on the BiX upgrade. When I saw our cars sitting side-by-side, your headlights made a huge difference in the overall appearance.
Now if I could just get away with spending that much on my car right now......

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Nice- What was the costs for them?
hkycoldrct- haha! Mine were promptly pulled off so that it could masquerade as a ~180 horsepower C. Subtleness and subterfuge is an admirable trait with regard to badges, imho. Unfortunately, they left behind a nasty ghost image of where they’d been. Had to reinstall new hardware to conceal the ill-fated 'mod.'
ScottW911- Thanks. When we first caught up at VRP, I was in awe of your car’s pristine condition. You’re correct though, a little Meguiar’s TLC was all it needed. If only the Mrs. could refrain from bouncing off curbs and spilling her latte, it’ll be all set for our next GTG.
Also, IMHO, $1,250 is VERY reasonable for bi-x's w/ installation. My C32 had them stock, but I contemplated getting them for the C230 Coupe - it was extremely expensive ($2,500+ for just the parts, IIRC) so I passed.
Now you just need a different city light wedge bulb; ditch the yellowish-orange factory ones and get a bluish-white bulb to match your bi-x's... they're cheap and it'll really finish off the new look; PIAA makes a good one, similar to their Xtreme White Plus line.
Now I know when the car is locked for sure! I used to hate having to listen for the 'clunk' on the door locks to know the doors were locked!
