Auto X, 1/4 mile, road course? For all ESP off is the right choice. Dyno mode will have you roasting one rear tire.

well i ran it in the 1/8th mile with esp off. the closest 1/4 mile track is an hour away...i could not stop spinning all night though. my best time was a 9.003 at 79.90 with a 2.18 60ft. and i did about 10 more runs almost identical. always 9.0 something with one or two hot laps at 9.1xx. is this really a decent 60ft time though? i mean 2.1's all night on what i consider to be a pretty well prepped track. I was spinning almost all the way to the 60. the car is stock but just had its service done so new filters and oil and what not. this is my first rwd car. i guess i've been pretty spoiled by consistent 1.70's.
other track info
95+ degrees Faranhiet out for most of the day
dropped into the mid to low 80's at night

Not to make you sad or anything, but if you're running 9.00 @ 90mph in the 1/8 mile, that equates to approximately a 14.10 in the 1/4 mile @ 100mph. 2.1 sixty foot times are certainly acceptable for a radial tire. You might squeeze out a high 1.9-ish or 2.0 on a really good night.
The standard accepted formulas for translating 1/8 mile to 1/4 mile ET's are:
Multiply your 1/8 ET by 1.57
Multiply your 1/8 MPH by 1.25
I've used this formula for many years, and it is typically very accurate overall. I've had slight variances on my turbo Buick w/ it, but my N/A Z28 used to be within hundredths of a second per the formula.
You definitely have room for a little improvement in your ET and MPH. However, you weren't running in ideal atmospheric conditions either. Keep in mind a tenth off your 60' is typically worth 2 tenths in your 1/4 ET. For example, if you drop your 2.1 on a 14.10 pass, down to a 2.0, you'll likely drop your ET to approximately 13.9.
I've had my best success running in dyno mode at the track, since the ESP absolutely kills the car off the line. I've found I can feather it myself better than letting it try to drive for me. But, that's just my of doing it, and your results may vary...

I say practice your launch to get less spin...try different things...practice loading convertor to 1k-1200prm then let go gradually once moving hit it to WOT it should reduce wheel spin but if done too slow it will not give you better times.
