N/A
IAT stands for Intake Air Temperature. Can't answer the question about the Johnson Pump...but do a search and their may be some DIY's on it--it's a pretty common mod.

Its a replacement of the stock pump; There's others BUT Johnson seems to be the "go to" pump.

Why would I re gap plugs that are on a stock car?

This is just one post from Brandon suggesting plugs be re gapped when changing out to any pulley that increases boost. Did you read all the posts on the subject? because I am pretty sure it was mentioned more than once. Maybe things changed since then I do not know. I did some homework before I throw out that comment on the plugs. If this has changed or you have other info that suggests you should not re gap I would be interested in seeing it .

If I am incorrect on this I apologize for any false info.

That first graph was actually the best looking run before we regapped the plugs down to 035. Some of the other runs we did before that, demonstrated just how important regapping the plugs is. So whether you are running a crank pulley, or the new sc pulley, regapping plugs is recommended. I was planning on doing a separate post with before and after dynos in regards to regapping the plugs. To be honest, I regapped in stages. First from 039 to 037, then from 037 to 035. After 035, everything always looked good. That first graph was an 037 run. The last was an 035 run. Every dyno at the stock gap, running the sc pulley, looked far worse. Power drop off was awful. Regapping the plugs will completely reshape the upper part of the power curve.

Did you have a chance to check on the spark plug gap with S/C pulley?

I have a pulley on mine, track it hard, and left the STOCK gap alone. NO spark rattle at all. The theory is that when you increase boost, you make the gap smaller, as it is harder for the ignition system to ignite a denser charge. Whenever I change my plugs, I will regap them about .005' tighter.

See yeah

TY I thought that was the case I was surprised by the response when I suggested the gapping of the plugs on a pullied car. I was like I know I read that somewhere. Sounds like doing this with your crank or S/C pulley set up will help out with power too.

Thanks
