Eibach Sway Bars

I was lookin around on the internet and noticed that Eibach makes swaybars the the W203 chassis. It didnt say wether or not they could be fitted on the C32 but it did say it could be fitted on the C320,240 etc. Has anybody had any experience with these swaybars? Does anyone know how much stiffer they are than stock ones? 345 dollars is not a bad price for better handling.

Yes, They will fit your C32. Give me a few minutes and I will find the post that list the sizes of the various bars.

EDIT:
sorry, I couldn't find one thread listing all the different bars. Just do a search for "Eibach sway bars".

I did not think the Eibach Swaybars were available yet. Who is selling them and do you know if they are adjustable?

Yes, they are available. A few members have recently post about getting them. I ordered mine from PURE motorsport for $345

Let us know how they perform once installed.

And let us know if they are adjustable(multiple settings for endlinks). I find it interesting that the C230 coupe would use the exact same bars.

I recently purchased a set from shox.com for my C32!

I think Eibach design the reat bar too thick! My C32 now "3 wheel" a lot in parking lot entrance/exits! I think it went from the stock thickness of 16mm to 22mm now ! Maybe when Eibach say it is for C230 they mean it!

using the same bar shouldn't be surprising, it's the same chassis. A lot of the coupe guys are use the C32 bars as an upgrade.

Box986,
How do the bars handle other than the " 3 wheeling" issue? Does the car still scrub the front tire on medium and high speed turns?(understeer). Is the car unstable during braking due to too much rear roll stiffness?

Just because they lift a rear tire while entering driveways and such does not mean the rear bar is too stiff.

I am trying to make a decision between the Eibachs and the Evosport bars.

This is what I have said in other posts before. Both the Eibach sway bars and our sway bars have adjustable fronts (ours offer 3 levels of adjustability), but after experimenting with various sizes during r&d we decided to make our rear sway bar is thinner, and much better suited for the C Class. Unlike the Eibach bar, it is also 2-way adjustable.

The car does handle very well now while cornering hard,, but without taking it to the limit I really can't tell how bad the oversteer is!
