So I finally got my new shoes and they look sweet!!! ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Only problem is that there is A HUGE AMOUNT OF VIBRATION,![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
at 40mph is barely noticeable but once I reach over 60+mph it feels like the front end of the car is about to fall apart.....I have already checked the car's alignment and made sure that the tires are properly balanced and run true....could there be another factor that I am not taking into consideration towards this??? ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Thanks for any input!!!
BTW I got the traditional upgrade from 18's to 19's (32/35 et) 235/35/19 and 255/35/19 set up with NITTO INVOs I dont know if this could be another factor????....

did you use spacers? if there not hubcentric spacers then it can cause vibration.
If not, more then likely its imbalanced tires. THe other possible thing could be your tie rods, but given your car is a 2005 i really doubt that. I would try taking it to a different place and have them rebalance the tires and check the alignment.

Yup. If you know they are balanced and you are not using spacers, check to make sure the wheels are mounted and torqued correctly with a hub centering ring. One side of my SSR GT3 wheel was missing the hub centering ring and it wobbled. After a hub centering ring was placed, no more wobble/vibration.

Back to more specific info....
I bought the TSW Snetterton (i will post pics soon, but first i want to get this fixed!! hope you guys understand)......I didn't have to put on any spacers as they bolted right on without any rubbing issues.....nevertheless I did not put on any hub rings because they have a hubcentric design, but now that I think about it......when I "fit tested" the wheel alone the hub space seemed bigger than the hub itself.......correct me if I am WRONG fellas....that I remeber... is the hub spec 66.56??? will the hubrings effect the wheel's offset???
ONCE AGAIN THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT FELLAS IT HAS BECOME HELPFUL!!! I THINK I MISSED A SMALL DETAIL AND I WAS ALMOST THINKING SUSPENSION PROBLEMS..... i hope thats not the case once i install the hub rings....

you need to figure out what is the centerbore size on the wheel first before considering the hub ring.
if the centerbore on the wheel are just slightly bigger you can wrap some electric tape around the center before putting the wheel on. If it's a lot bigger than definitely get hub rings.

yeah...that I remember it is quite a big gap so I think i'm going to be better off with just getting the hubrings....I dont mind spending the $30-$60 as long as it eliminates the vibration.... ONE LAST THING....that 66.56...is that the inner out outter diameter? it looks like you have to specify when you order them so that you get the right ones...

They also make hub centric ring tape/strips. You just cut how much you need and tape it around the hub. That's what the guys at TWS used, and to my surprise it worked just as well as those metal or plastic pieces. No need to spend time measuring the hub diameter.

There was an AUDI S5 at TWS that had similar problems with their front wheels. The S5 had Mercedes BBS mesh rims on it, which has a larger center bore than the Audi, so the wheels were not centered over the hub. He had the wheels installed at America's Tire Co.
They rammed lug bolts which were too long and torqued the crap out of them, stripping the threads on the bolts and the hub assembly. TWS fixed the problem by using shorter lug bolts, retapping the threads on the hub, and placing hub centering foil tape to fix the wheel mounting issue. Once a wheel is mounted and centered over the hub correctly, you should be able to insert the lug bolts easily by hand and just torque to spec. If there is too much difference in size between the center bore of your rims and and the hub then you need to use a metal hub centering ring. Foil tape won't work well.
