C55 BLACK SERIES, NEED HELP!!!!!!!

Hey everyone, I have a 2006 C55 and am going to be ordering the CLK BLACK SERIES 4 wheel brake setup. (buying all 4 rotors, calipers, pads, and sensors for all 4 wheels) Is there anything else that i am missing that i need to order to be able to have the it installed properly?

There was a post a while back where someone had already did this upgrade and wrote about it, but when i did a search, i could not find the link to the old post. Could you guys please help me find the post.

The reason it's soo important is i need to double check the part numbers AND I think there is a pair of brackets that are needed for the front calipers or something. They said in their old post that they just had to cut some of the dust cover off the back wheels and that was it, in order to install the CLK BLACK SERIES brakes on their C55. But I CANT REMEMBER if they included a part number for something like a bracket, to allow the front calipers to sit higher and clear the larger black series front rotors. PLEASE HELP!!!

So again thank you all who wrote with the intentions of helping me in this project. But as a side note, I want to order the BLACK SERIES clk63 brake kit, not just use the stock clk 63 brakes. Any ideas? ~thank you

If you wanted more attention, I don't understand why you're complaining 'cuz you got it. But just exactly why does your post deserve more attention than anybody else's?

Oh, my bad...
because it's more important to you than anybody else's...

Is there a reason why you prefer the CLK63BS brakes over the CLK63?

1Lop, isn't the setup the same or is the bs front setup a bit lighter?

I am told the standard CLK63 brakes are:

360 x 32 mm with 6-piston fixed caliper-FRONT
330 x 26 mm with 4-piston fixed caliper- REAR

the CLK63BS are:

360 x 36 mm with 6-piston ????? caliper-FRONT
330 x 26 mm with 4-piston ????? caliper- REAR

But if someone knows for sure if the BS brakes are floating or FIXED, please comment.

C55asleep? The setup are pretty much the same, however the offset on the BS might not fit the C55.

They're all fixed. Interesting that the BS rotors are thicker for warpage resistance. I wonder what the SLR rotors are then and how much more they weigh due to the difference.
