Question I need a schematic please!
I tried searching but no luck...anyone has a belt schematic for the C32?


Splinter,Boohoorambler,ScottW,Fifth,AMG Jerry,1fastC32 or anyone?


I just recieved the Gates V belt and wanted to try to install it with a friend but have no idea how or where to start...help please!

DIY link if possible

This is the best I can do for you. I'm pretty sure splinter will have a complete set of DIY photos in his laptop with him right now.

Put a wrench on the tensioner pully (#9)

Take care not to remove the pully, just crank it over and it will move to the side and allow the belt to be removed.

When putting on the new belt start at the top and align the clutch and other accessories that have the grooves in them.

The easiest way to get the belt back on is to get the position correct on all pullies but the water pump pully (#8)

Put the wrench back on the tensioner and use a flat head screwdriver to get the belt over the pump pully making sure not to ruin the belt.

Thanks but the man in Chicago I definitely think there are others who deserve that but not me

With practice I will get my car in the 12s..a friend got it down to 13.02 but can't find slip
