Brought my '02 C32 to Rock Falls Raceway today.

Well, since I got it on Monday, I figured it was about damn time I brought it to the track. I have not dynoed this car yet, but I usually do that right away too. As far as I can tell, its 100% factory stock, except for 18" AMG replicas with 225/40 and 255/35 PZero Neros.

I had a few runs in the 13.40s, but here are my best two:

60'................2.041..............2.047
330'..............5.655..............5.665
1/8 ET...........8.641..............8.652
1/8 mph.........82.41..............82.44
1000'.............11.202............11.213
1/4 ET...........13.342............13.353
1/4 mph.........105.46............105.37

The density altitude was around 2000' on these runs, which isn't too bad for RF. The actual track elevation is around 900 feet, and the air temps were in the high 60s. It should go a little quicker in cooler fall weather.

This was with a carseat in the back and no weight removal. Just under 1/2 tank of gas. I checked the air filters and they are filthy stock ones, so not even aftermarket air filters (I wanted to see if someone had swapped in some K&Ns or something).

Thats pretty good actually. Especially with 18's and street tires. No modding? Some folks have have been modding for a while around here and are getting those numbers.
Good Job. Throw up a time slip when you can.

For all stock and your first time at the track with this car, that is pretty damn good. The MPH seems normal, but the E.T. is a little quicker than most are running. Once you get the feel for it and some cooler weather, you should go even quicker.

Nice run! You will knock off a few tenths this fall when the temps drop, there is less gas in the tank, and no baby seat!

Was anything else "fun" out there?

I would say most modded C32's C55's run either K&N's or Green filters. I run k&n's Nothing against green filters, k&n were at AutoZone so i got them. whats better? they are just about the same and its easier if its left at that.

Not sure it your going to get better ET's with cooler temps than 60 degrees as tracks conditions change IMO 60 is kinda ideal temp.

50 is even better!!!! Assuming you can get traction on a well prepped track, the SC is breathing heavy. At 47 degrees this morning in Chicago, I thought I was driving Wayne's E 55. Seriously, its that strong when it gets cold here!! October drags will tell the story.
