Not any big new guys, the engine hood and the sidemirrors have gone for carbonfibre. The hood will be in CF, and the mirrors will be covered with CF.

I have not decided yet if I will paint part of the hood, or the whole hood when I get it back. I Love CF, but I'm a bit concerned that to leave the hood in all CF, will be a bit to much "race car" like!?

What do you guys think?

I'd paint the CF hood and keep the MB understated style going. Always love a sleeper!!

I'm down the middle. I say paint most of the hood to blend in the OE look and find a spot (in good taste) to expose a small amount of carbon fiber. Maybe the edge up near the windsheild?

I have two thoughts about painting the hood...Paint the whole thing...Or paint the edges going up towards the sidemirrors..

By the way, LIKE your car! Very nice!

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
You

will need a modified rear gear set.Who is going to program the ecu?And have you budgeted the 5grand for the modified 5 speed if you achieve over 500h.p.
The internals on the m112 will not take 7-8hundred hp.without Grenading.
Who's going to modify the chassis?700-800 h.p. out of a 195cu.in. m112 is highly optimistic .I hope you have deep pockets.
How are you going to stuff 335's in the rear wheel wells?

I'm sending my gearbox to MKB Germany...Expensive, but good quality! I have a Kleemann LSD in already, and if I se that that is not enough; I'll send the whole rear axel of to MGB during next winter.

Thanks man!!

Another thought I've had about my own is maybe finding a louver press around here and having a couple sections done similar to the brabus rocket hood. Making half the power your looking for I know that some passive cooling mods are gonna help. In your case maybe expose that louverd vented section with a little CF showing. I would defenitly make the painted sections meet the body lines so it doesn't look sectioned off. AKA civic'd

That would be sooooo cool! For This winter, all I have planed is the current things. But who knows what will happen next winter...Hehe...Convert to E85 maybe, (Etanol)! Gives you another 100Hp! But I am a bit doubtful to do it, as it's also harder on the engine with the E85. But there is other things the Scram guys can do as well, so we will se what will come.

Exclamation PROBLEM...

So a problem was discovered when Scram started to take the engine apart. My IC had a crack in it, and was leaking. So this might explain the low numbers on the dyno!? At least a bit!
I feel so stupid that I did not reflect on it when I had to refill my coolant every week!

I should have got warning signals in my head, since I do know that the problem is quit common on our cars!

This is not a problem now, since the plan has been from the start so change the IC to a bigger one, since the one that is on from AMG, is just way too small!

I just feel stupid for not thinking of it!

If you're looking for an over-built, bolt-in replacement - Code 3 Performance has developed one that allegedly is in stock and ready to ship:

http://shop.code3performance.com/pro...3&productId=13

There've been a few complaints about their turn-around time... YMMV.

Well, since C3P is part of why I started the project from the start, and I Don't mean that in a good way, I will for sure NOT go that way!

I have no problem with there products, but I have a big problem with there customer service!

But thanks for your thoughts thou!
