holy cow! I blame the stupid tech. I don't know if the require a spacer or washer, but he didn't put it back on right. He must have taken it off to check the front main seal since he determined it was not leaking. I would be extremely pissed and give the SA a piece of my mind about their techs and how they just about destroyed your engine! Did you take it to Arrow Head?
DAMN!!!! I just saw the video, TOW IT TO THE DEALER FIRST THING IN THE MORNING!!!! Those ****** F#C&ERS!!!!

Don't drive it any further !
That looks really scary - maybe as other have said it wasn't re-installed correctly.
Looks as though it wasn't torque down properly and could let go at any moment !

I'll bet they'll say they didn't if it costs them an AMG engine. Carefully word your questions regarding the inspection of the seal. Calmly and look interested in how, ask for the tech who worked on the car, and ask how they go about checking for the condition of the seal. Ask when they remove and reinstall the pulley, do they need to replace the bolt? if they say no, then respond with, "So you just reused my old one then?" You want your questions to trap them into saying they removed and reinstalled it. when you achieve that, then open the gates of hell and bring the SA out to your car and show him the work their tech did. If their hands touched it last, then they are responsible for it, regardless if aftermarket or not.

Just spoke with AMS And i have to say they are on top of it and are going to help me out so thats a plus. They recommend i put the stock pulley back on and send in the the AMS one in exchange for a new replacement one. What I noticed was when i started the car up in the drive way i heard a belt squeak and i have never heard that before. So thats what prompted me to open the hood and inspect. My question if they inspected the crank seal they would have to remove the pulley right? I don't want to be quick to throw a blame out yet as it my be torqued incorrectly or it maybe a faulty pulley. lets hope for an incorrect torque and a quick fix. Really though its never that smooth.
All I know int hat video it looks like its going to throw the belt.

I highly doubt that its the pulley's fault, I mean how warped can a pulley get the day it leaves the dealer? Thats a clear mis-installation by the tech.

We usually tend to hear it way after it occured and was fixed...thanks for sharing Hooleyboy

If the bearing is good, the pulley will not wobble unlike what is shown in the video. Seems to me, the bearing gave way but remained in place only because of the pulley bolt.

Hooleyboy I had the ams pulley myself including the evosport udp and the only problem I ran into was the crank seal leaking and it was done about 2 weeks ago. I've been running with these pulleys for about a year in a half, other than that there was no woble.

WOW what a pulley
Okay, reality for a moment. First of all pulley instalation is NOT rocket science gentlemen. You simply slide it one, hopefully with the keyway aligned. Now with that being said, even IF it wasn't on the keyway, it should still spin properely with NO wobble. The key ONLY stops it from rotating on the crankshaft, THAT'S IT. So that leaves you with one of two options:
1. Pulley is bent
2. Crankshaft is bent. HIGHLY doubtful as it is forged steel, so rest easy my friend.
Note: This does asume that the pulley is fully seated on the crankshaft and the bolt is tight. Both of witch ANY second grader could do.
So, GET RID OF THAT PULLEY NOW
See yeah
