Wanted: M112K Supercharger Clutch (preferably OE)

Main reason for this thread:

I need a replacement clutch assembly for my spare supercharger.

Note: The optimal scenario would be if C3P stepped up to the plate and remedied this situation.

In the event that C3P (or whoever the managing entity is) doesn’t make this right, I would like to solicit any offers from forum members who are willing to part with a fully functional OE supercharger pulley. I would greatly appreciate it if you could reply in this thread or reply via PM with what you have to offer and at what price.

Attn: Brandon / Aaron – now is NOT the time to go into ‘silent’ mode.

Not sure if publicly calling out C3P is the right thing to do. But do your thing. I know I would be upset if stuff i bought didn't work right so i deff understand ya I would bet C3P make it right for you.

I appreciate the advice hooleyboy, but in the case of this impasse, I have no other option. You (the members) must believe me when I say that I don't like doing this and I certainly don't like creating drama. The situation has gone on for far too long without resolution.

I'm not going to make known the details as yet. The aim of this thread is to have the effect of a gentle 'nudge' so that ugliness is prevented.
That said, it would be wrong of me to allow this thread to continue with people thinking that this has something to do with performance of parts. It does not. To my knowledge, C3P's parts work very well.

That's why I have resorted to doing this.

When the situation permits, it’ll be helpful for potential purchasers to know of your experience.

I'm not sure we all follow you. It looks like there is an issue with Code3, but then you basically say their parts are fine. Was this some sort of customer support issue?

This is an issue of deplorable business / personal practices by C3P/Brandon.
I encourage you to read all of the following and make your own decision. TOU rules dictate that I can't post my e-mail communications with C3P without permission so I'll just briefly summarize everything.

This all stems around the development of the C3P SC pulley.

In June 2007, Brandon mentioned that he was starting to pursue developing a smaller SC pulley. I let him know that I had an extra supercharger and I offered to loan him my pulley for the purpose of R&D.
Brandon acknowledged that he was borrowing my clutch in two e-mail communications and I subsequently sent him my pulley (he received it June 20, 2007).

Fast forward to Feb 26, 2008. Brandon e-mailed me filling me in on the pulley development and letting me know that as soon as he had the pulleys, he would send me one.
March 6, 2008. Another e-mail by Brandon saying he will send me a pulley.
March 18, 2008. Another e-mail stating the same.
April 29, 2008. Another e-mail stating the same.
May 6, 2008. Another e-mail stating the same.
June 25, 2008. Another e-mail stating the same.

So.....
Here we are - October 19th, 2008 (16 months later). I have a supercharger with no pulley.

I believe that I have waited patiently (to say the least) to this point only to be ignored by Brandon / C3P and to learn that he is reneging on his promises. I am not a cheap man. If I wasn't told that I was going to get a pulley as compensation for my equipment, then I would have probably purchased one and gone on with my plans for mod'ing.
In fact, since I was sure that I was getting a pulley to replace my OE unit, I later gave Brandon permission to cut (thereby destroying) the pulley because he wanted to show that the pulley internals weren't as complicated as previously thought.

Again, I take no pleasure airing dirty laundry. I just want a pulley to replace the one I sent to Brandon so that he could develop his lucrative smaller SC pulley. It's that simple.
Attempts to resolve this without drama have fallen on deaf ears. Since it looks like I will now have to purchase a stock unit, I feel compelled to share this story with you guys so that you could get a sense of my dealings with Brandon.

It’s really suck if this is true! I just don't get why he didn't send you the new code 3 pulley? He denies to send you one or you just want the OEM?

It was absolutely irresponsible of me to let this go so long. Patrick was extremely helpful in helping me get the product rolling, and I will not stand here and give any excuses for not taking care of him. For that I apologize. I will send you two Code3 pulleys tomorrow when I get home. One for the spare SC, which will hopefully increase its resale value, and another for whatever you would like to do with it.

This is what I believed would be the outcome. I can understand an oversight could happen. Brandon is the type to correct his errors.

I am currently out of the country so I apologize for not posting earlier to thank you and bring closure to this thread. I feel remorse having gone this route; however, it's time to move on.

I very much appreciate the offer of two pulleys, but I really only need one. They are expensive items and you worked extremely hard getting them designed and put into production.
Please consider selling the other pulley and donating half the proceeds to a cancer-related charity.
