So I got a CEL today
yeah check engine light came on today with a check my gas gap. Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem before? I got tons of mods so IDK what it really means.

probably have a slow leak in the evap. emission system...try tightening/replacing your fuel cap

I got one a few days ago, but knew it couldn't be the gas cap. My wife suggested I try taking off the gas cap then screw it back on. I tried it just to humor her, and the CEL went away.

You have a bad sense of smell I ran the tank out of the 89 prior to putting in 93 so I believe you were smelling the SUV in front of you that you were staring at what was happening inside

my CEL came on, got a new cap and its been on for like a month still everyone once in a while it tells me to check my gas cap. I had my friend scan it its something with evap system

I didnt run 89, However i was coming off a full tank of 100oct and back to 91oct. the stoped in the dealer and they said its mostliky just a small vacuum leak and i got an appointment thursday
