I was running a bit lean at first and made less power we richened it up a bit and got the AF were it needed to be and as soon as we did that the HP numbers came up.

Stout!

So it was running lean? Did they tweak the timing too?

Looking forward to your 100 octane results.

Looks like you’ll be ready to get after it at Speedworld next month -- if not before. hehe

I was told to keep this tune a closely guarded secrete. All that means is IDK what they did. It feels very strong though. If I've learned anything I will be happy for a week or so then i will want more.

Yeah I wonder what other C55's are dynoing at? All my dynos have been on a dyno dynamics. I hear i would put down about 385whp on a dyno jet. My dynolious on My Ipod just said i ran 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. How accurate that is??? IDK???

Nice #'s
however that seems kinda high for a dyno dynamics dyno.
When are you taking her to the track?

Hooley with all due respect and I don't want to come across like a total dick but I ran a 12.4 with 365rwhp and crazy wheel spin and if I recall you have a rough time breaking into the 12's and your just about 10hp away from me. I just think that the dyno you are going to is not to accurate IMHO. please don't get this in the wrong way I am just curious to know if it's just the dyno or maybe it was the dyno I went to? Btw I know there is plenty of factors but damn it's almost a full second difference.

The true test , as always, will be the track. If I was running a 12.7 (with Michelin Street Tires) at Morrocco, then I must be in the 340-350 RWHP range. For sure, 365 should take you into the mid-low 12 range at the track next month (assuming a good RT/ good 60 foot and ***** to the wall traction.) Jake should be able to extrapolate from this with his 12.3 in the C32. Jake, what was your latest dyno RWHP???

No hard feeling taken. My 12.99 run (my best) was done with a D/A of 3000ft. the elevation of the track is 1400ft. corrected numbers would be 12.5. If had a hard time getting into the 12's because in the warmer Arizona weather it can be like racing a mile high in the sky, were the air is thinner. Dyno Dynamics tend to have a smaller, more real world HP/Tq numbers than say a dyno-jet. My estimated Dyno-jet numbers are 388whp. Dyno Dynamics vs dyno-jet, the DJ will read around 10% higher or the DD will read about 10% lower. however you want to look at it. I was At the track in September and Vipers and new Z06's were 12.8's and we know they are faster than that. On that day I ran a 13.4 as my best time. and the temp at race time was 101 degrees. Trust me that dyno is accurate, How do I know? Its broken my heart many of times. Also there are a few other factors like track prep. On an open street night it can be like ice, and it really makes it had to put down the power with no LSD, or slicks. In turn holeshots are just about impossible and 60fts are in the high 2s or even 3's.

That's a great time for a NA C55!. What was your trap speed and your 60'.
I could take a few lessons in launching from you.

im a hair shy of 4, but have a feeling that will change real soon...

Your car should be 330-340 on dyno dynamics.

He should be able to reach the low 12's, with a good launch like you said..

that thin dry AZ air is terrible for track & dyno numbers that just comes with the territory. For AZ those numbers are phenomenal.
