it aint really damage per se.. its just a deep groove where his fender obviously wore through the tire and made a deep grove around the entire outside of the tire..

i brought it to discount tire co and they wouldn't even mount it..

i mean i wish this guy would have mentioned this before wasting my time..

There’s two ways we can do this the man to man way or the childish way. and from what iam seeing rite now your being just a little disrespectful. Fist things first your $250 don’t mean squat to me. at the same time there is a principle involved. #1. you have my phone number #2 my Aim Screen name #3. my house address. you tell me you starting a new thread on some used tires and you being cheap really called for?

After discussing this issue the right way . we made and agreement for 2 tires to be shipped to your house that was removed of my two front rims 235/35/19 be sold to you, ok, I had those tires on my car no less the 4-5 months and only drove the car on the weekends, I had my car about 17 months now and only have 8500 miles on it, so u do the math I know I would not di*k anyone around because I would not like that in return.

here’s what take the tires wash um out post some pics up and we let every one else decided, and the next time you decided to encounter a problem do it the respectful way! Were all adults.

again for the 20th time this has nothing to do with the tread wear.. do you even know english we spoke about this for 20 mins on aim.. YES THE TREADWEAR IS EVEN BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE..

lets think logically about this for 2 secs.. if the tires were fine and if they were like i thought they were supposed to be.. why would i even be wasting my time complaining..

i can look at the pic in your signature and tell where the gash around the entire tire came from.. .. and obviously they are not safe to use if the tire place won't be responsible for my safety after mounting them..

had you just listed.. 'yes my tires rubbed against my fender and there is a gash running a half inch deep around each tire' i would not even have wasted my time buying your 'used' tires..

and you say 250 doesn't mean squat to you.. if thats the case take the tires back.. i didn't use them i can't.. if you want proof of the gash go outside and look at your front tires..

logically why would i be wasting my time doing this if the tires were useable..

Can't tell anything with that picture.

If YOU think it's safe enough, I'd just go to one of the smaller independent tire shops and have them mount them.

The larger shops as you mentioned before are probably more worried about their liability.

And on the flip side, remember that your life is riding on your tires. Sometimes I like like to drive really fast and hang corners really fast, that's what the car was made for. If my tire was to blow at one of those times, it could be catastrophic.

eh its prob. about 3-4 mm deep..

thats a butter knife sitting in the 'gash'

another negative about going to an independent tire shop is.. i get hooked up at discount tire co.. a friend of mine works there.. his manager is the one who told me not to use the tires..

1/8 inch is not much at all. personally, if the line is higher on the tread than the lowest depth of the tire, i would run them.
