I believe there is a distributor that sells them on ebay. There is an AMG one and a non-AMG one. You can use either. Using the non-AMG one on our AMGs make the throttle response very aggressive!

Is this bad or good?

All it does is make the gas pedal overly sensitive. Don't waste your money.

You are better off putting your money towards a tune from Jerry. That's if you don't have a tune already.

I guess it's a matter of personal preference. The AMG one will sharpen the response you already have and the non-AMG one will sharpen it even more. BTW - your red C55 looks amazing! Very unique!

Have you tried the so called "ECU reset" - to sharpen up your throttle/shift response? I don't know where the best place is to buy to them...

I was thinking of a sprintbooster the other day too. With 350ish whp i still get the feeling sometimes like the car is slow or not shifting into the right gear. I wish the transmission just would know i drive like a mad man alot. It would be cool if there was some TCU programs for the C55 IMo it needs it. A problem I have is with ESP too IF i jump on it at 20-30mph ESP with cut power because of wheel spin, Maybe its time for an LSD. IDK Sometime the C55 has a mind of its own.

I disagreed !!! The AMG is a much better version. I used the AMG version on my Clk 430, CL55 and Clk 500. I didn't like the non-AMG version on any on my cars. The non-AMG version is way too aggresive for me.

There is another thread running on this somewhere,, I answered on it yesterday.

On a UK forum we got a bulk buy discount for 100 sprint boosters. 99 were very happy with them, and only 1 sold it on.

Though this does not change the power output, it does feel a very different car when fitted as it changes the curve of the accelerator pedal, making the car feel quicker for very little throttle movement.

Its a nice" must have" for what they cost

What about running a Sprintbooster with a ECU Tune?

I am thinking about getting a tune through LET and am wondering if the Sprintbooster is even needed after a tune?

Let me know.

Thanks

Wow, if you could get 100 interested buyers, even 50 would be good, I can give some substantially discounted prices.

As there are several threads running on the different sections it should not be hard to get enough members, your forums are much larger than ours
