I honestly dont know. I didnt do a baseline with the stock airbox. It was a spur of the moment test when i seen the E55 intake sitting around the shop. I borrowed some new K&Ns and a tossed then in and just did a comparison between the two, It also might be noted that this test was done on my car that has a custom tune for the added flow the Renntech box and other mods make. If there was a tune for this airbox results may have been different. Or if my car was stock and compared both intakes vs stock, results may be different.

Hooley can you measure the difference in heigh for the c55 airbox v. renntech? I don't see why you couldn't just take a c55 box split it in half gut the internals and add the height with fiberglass or plastic and epoxy for cheap. Also does the renntech have a screen in it and are you running both screens in front of the tb?
