Yes and so are the C32 springs
Just like your brake calipers are made by Brembo

The same manufacturer may make the springs for C32 and C55, but the springs themselves are different between the 2 cars. And yes, our brakes (both the C55 and C32) are made by Brembo.

AFAIK, Bilstein is also an OEM supplier to MB.

Of course, this doesn't mean you can't see a handling improvement by moving to Eibach sport springs and/or Bilstein sport shocks, or potentially a brake improvement by going to a Brembo BBK...

FWIW, I'm not terribly surprised Eibach is the OEM supplier for these springs - they make good ones. If I would've had to guess prior, I might've thrown out a WAG of H&R as MB's source (and would've been incorrect, apparently). Anyway, interesting info to know - thanks for sharing hooleyboy.

Hooley your only running 12.9 ? Just wondering cause you got alot of mods and hp/tq.

Is it just to hard to launch the beast? or time for a new tune for the mods?

D/A corrected time is 12.5 I always get wheel spin. I lift off the gas at the line as soon as i feel wheel spin, then get back on it. I got the power i just have to put it down. 12.94 at 111mph. I need slicks, plus the C55 cant do a burn out so it is what it is. I'm starting to hate the nitto's i got. I need to address the traction problems before i do any other mods. After the Holidays Ken from Renntech is going to take a look at my shift points.

Evan, its been a long road for you getting into the 11's and today was the day! congrats!

No power adders like us. With some drag radials and he will be getting down there.

Yep a year ago I was barely running in the 13.20's. My many thanks go to Rob at Needswings. I told him I wanted to get there with stock exhaust and stock cooling. He made it happen. You should have stayed to see me drive that E55, that was fun. I got that thing to do a wicked burnout.

My wife should of got that on tape, that baby was sideways pulling hard. After I figured out how to do a proper burnout, I told Tectite the low down and he went 12.18 for the best. Jangy went 12.3's but I'm sure that car has more in it with drag radials.

Its on my short list, I'm going to try some C32 wheels(17x8.5) for the rear with some 245x40x18 drag radials and see if that helps first.
