Supercharger Bearing
Does anyone have access to a new C32 supercharger bearing? It would really help me out. I need one, but they seem to be back ordered at LET and Code3. I don't know where else to get one.
Any help would be great, thanks!

here you go. http://www.houstonbearing.com/Defaul...arch%20results
It's air-condition bearing, but the same size. however it's not a bearing rated as fast as the OEM one code3 have access to.
The first one I replaced it with only lasted 6 month, but this second one I'm on already went past a year and half mark and still good. I keep a spare one on hand just in case. since they're not always available as well.

The alternative (courtesy of TopGun32) is an air conditioning bearing from Houston Bearings: DAC32550023.
I have one sitting at home (DAC32550023) and you are most welcome to it - I can ship it out to you tomorrow if you are in dire need of a replacement (albeit probably temporary!). Send me a PM and let me know.

I agree with Frank - if you want the best solution, you should go with NSK 32BD45DU. That one seems to be difficult to source - obviously that's why you're posting!

Supercharger Bearing Fix Options
Can anyone clue me in to the alternatives to fix a bad bearing on the supercharger? My has been rattling for a while and I have an independent looking at it now. They referenced a kit from the dealer for $1,100 or so and quite a bit of labor time.
Can anyone bring me up to date on how to address this problem?

i got one extra NSK bearing (OEM bearings)actually have two but keeping one for backup. I'll sell it for 10 bucks plus shipping. I can get them locally at dirt cheap prices. Let me know if anyone needs them. Any good shop with a press can do it within 1 hour. I had my mechanic do it for free since I was replacing an idler bearing. It turned out that the idler bearing was faulty to begin with, but I did a preventative change @60K not wanting to know when the SC bearing will die on me.
cheers~

if you really need one.. go with the houston bearings.
But if you can get a used code3 pulley, it has the same bearing from NGK and you get more power at the same time and just as easy to install as the bearing.
Any mechanic with some sort of self initiative will figure out the bearing install. I used to take both cars to a ghetto shop here in Ontario, and they were able to install just about anything I can throw at the them. crank Pullies, IC pump, H/E, plugs, trans flush, engine oil change, brakes, bearings, water pump cover for the c32, ect..
But the owner passed away and changed ownership. Now one of their former mechanics, comes to my garage when ever I need him and I pay him cash.

sometimes it's not the bearing but the plate that's making
some noise. mine has a slight wobble. I ordered some shims
and will install this weekend.
