Just wondering what you guys go in the works. Especially you cold weather guys. All I got going are some slicks once i can find a wheel that will fit them.

Yup +1 Threw some Dunlop Winter Sports on that sucker and we're driving it through snow, rain and sleet baby. I take care of it and wash it once a week but it gets no special treatment otherwise. I'm driving it until the wheels fall off of it. You get more overall enjoyment out of it anyway that way. I used to store my E36 M3 in the winter and kind of regret that now. I maybe got $2k more for it at the end of the day because of the lower mileage but effectively got about 1/2 of the use and enjoyment out of it. These cars (most German performance cars) just don't hold their value enough to totally baby them.

Maybe just put the H&R springs on. Since it's winter, I won't look for wheels until spring time.

we're getting a fresh 5"'s right now...the drive home should be "fun".
Ordered up some H+R sways, Bilstien coil overs....not a whole lot of go fast till the spring.
I'll avg 600 miles a week in the winter

The C55 is parked in the winter time. The winters here in Western Canada are long and brutal and while it is possible to drive it with some good winter tires (I drove my C32 in the winter) I'd rather not. To me the ice, road salt, and drivers that don't know how to drive in the snow provide me with all the incentive I need to keep it parked. I have a Cavalier Sedan (130Hp Beast) I drive in the winter. I'll probably pick up a few mods for the C55 over winter and spend time putting a couple coats of wax on it.....

I just put snow tires on our C55. 17" rims that match the style of the OEM 18"s. Running Blizzaks LM25 (225/45). Drives great in cold weather, but performance obviously suffers.
