Just wondering what you guys go in the works. Especially you cold weather guys. All I got going are some slicks once i can find a wheel that will fit them.

Just driving mine, and beating up on the occasional Acura 3.2 CL Type-S, like this evening.

custom fiberglass work in the trunk and under the hood. Finish the suade dash, a couple more go fast goodies...

I'm driving it until the wheels fall off of it. You get more overall enjoyment out of it anyway that way. I used to store my E36 M3 in the winter and kind of regret that now. I maybe got $2k more for it at the end of the day because of the lower mileage but effectively got about 1/2 of the use and enjoyment out of it. These cars (most German performance cars) just don't hold their value enough to totally baby them.

drive the car as long as there is no snow, ice or major amounts of sand/salt on the roads. When there is, break out the Subaru.

Maybe just put the H&R springs on. Since it's winter, I won't look for wheels until spring time.

I am driving in 70 degree temps today, on my summer/performance tires.
What is this "winter" thing you speak of?

The C55 is parked in the winter time. The winters here in Western Canada are long and brutal and while it is possible to drive it with some good winter tires (I drove my C32 in the winter) I'd rather not. To me the ice, road salt, and drivers that don't know how to drive in the snow provide me with all the incentive I need to keep it parked. I have a Cavalier Sedan (130Hp Beast) I drive in the winter. I'll probably pick up a few mods for the C55 over winter and spend time putting a couple coats of wax on it.....

My back up ride is a Mini Van thats missing hubcaps! I toe my ATV's in it. On the rear night all of my friends hop in and take it to the bar. Then we just cab it home hoping it gets stolen being left in the parking lot over night. Hell right now Its been sitting at the install shop i use for two weeks now lol.

2005 C55 AMG
I just put snow tires on our C55. 17" rims that match the style of the OEM 18"s. Running Blizzaks LM25 (225/45). Drives great in cold weather, but performance obviously suffers.
