Ticking noise and curious FedEx man

I was doing things in the garage today and a FedEx truck parks right next to my garage, a guy just comes up and starts talking to me with a package in his hands, I'm like wtf dude, he steped into the garage and started asking me what I was doing and what the noise was that was coming from my car. It was really weird so I stepped out and he followed me and I closed the garage door because I have a lot of boxes in there that could hint at what I bought for my apartment.

Then he started asking me where I serviced the car, I just said different places and he told me had a W220 S430... a FedEx truck driver...
He asked me where I get my car serviced several times even though I told him that I do in different places, then 30 seconds later I tell him I gota go and leave to my place.

I don't know why I am posting this here, but I feel like I should just in case lol.

Oh yeah and I got a question about the noise coming out of my car. See I was unpluging the battery while the car was in locked and right after I took off the first cord this fast ticking noise started coming out from where the AC stepper motor is.

Well on the bright side of things ECU tuned by Jerry is coming back soon

Don't FedEx drivers make really good money?

Plus, you can get a used S430 for under 10 grand.

This is a bad thread. Looking down on people is really retarded. Well at least for me. I was a pizza delivery man driving an 92 Acura Legend in 1996 when I was in college when many other people were driving a lot older Honda and Toyota and even worse. Isn't there a thread couple weeks ago with a picture of a C class w203 with domino's sign on the roof?

This is just wrong. Why don't you look at it at the bright side? Maybe he is just a nice guy and want to make friend to you. Didn't he respect you when he see your C? If one respects me I definitely respect him.

Yeah Fedex routes are independently owned along with the trucks the route drivers use. FedEx Express on the other hand is owned and ran by Fedex. Thats kinda strange how they call it FedEx when the "EX" already stands for express.

IF you can buy a good route you can make big money. Let alone 2 good routes $$$$$.

Sometimes I see my FedEx driver making deliveries in a uhaul because the FedEx truck broke down.

I didnt offer my comment as to look down on ppl. On the contrary I can count lots of ppl i know that make three times more than I do, dont have a college education and you wouldnt know it.

For example I worked for a major south florida developer that didnt get the chance to finish school because he had to take over the family business due to a death in the family. He's very sucessful and I guarantee anyone in Fort Lauderdale has heard his name.

Whats even more remarkable is the Fed Ex driver I mentioned (which caused this off topic discussion) came to this country five years ago!

Hooley
During the dark ages, FedEx used to be known as Federal Express when overnight delivery was starting to take off.

As part of a massive marketing and diversification campaign in the mid 90's they shortened it to FedEx, then they bought Kinko's, offered all these services and now overnight delivery is now known as FedEx Express to distance it self from FedEx Ground, FedEx White Glove and FedEx Custom Critical.
Did you know they also deliver cars?

Yeah, a lot of the money they make is from overtime pay. It's a lot of hours, but you can make a lot of money for a low skill requirement job.

Before DHL left the US, my local pickup guy owned a nail shop and had two houses.
