C55 to CLK63 Front Bumper Swap
Has anyone done this?
I have searched the forum and read the few posts about the swap out….. there appeared that there was conflict if this could be done or not…..
I think this would be an awesome mod/replacement.

I have looked into this in the past and this would not be a cheap option, you would need the following:
fogs
harness to change the fog from an H7 to H1 bulb.
all lower grills
front bumper cover
complete front bumper reinforcement with foam inserts
front left and right wheel well liners
side marker lights

just ask steve u want CLK63 front bumper retrofit and he can send u all the necessary parts...
if u r in cali, then he can do the install for u as well on his frequent trips...

AMG4ever.... not sure you understand me... The guy put C55 clip/bumper on a C320... I'm talking about putting the CLK63 bumper on the C55...
Thats a crazy 55Kompressor swap though!

Also, looked through the site and could find no C55 w/63 bumper

Thanks thats what i was saying as well.... I know it would not be a cheap option but thats why I want the factory parts so it would look as though it came that way... something a little unique

no he has a CLK63 front bumper/fenders/hood on the car in addition to the motor swap. PM Sunil.

He also works directly with Steve when it comes to getting European parts not available in the States. This is not your case. You can get all the necessary stuff from any US dealer.

a CLK63 front bumper does fit on a C55...same headlights, same crashbox, almost the same fenders and a slightly different (interchangeable) grill
eventhough we actually are based in the netherlands, our work is not limited to the dutch borders...and a hawaiin trip is scheduled for the second half of april
