Custom License Plate - Suggestions/Feedback
Hey guys,
Wanted to gauge how members felt about custom license plates, whether you're a fan of them or think they're tacky...
and as a follow-up, if you had any suggestions for a custom plate for a C55 in DC/MD. I came up with one "C55 U L8R" as a play off of "c u later" but i wanted feedback on whether it was too corny and if members had some good suggestions...
thanks in advance!

C55AMG, is what I would do.....
IF you use any of the CUL8R stuff, and when not if, but when you get beat, You will be rethinking your custom plate.
Dont do this either EZ2CYI1

I love it. It's my name (Adam) in Polish.
Personally I prefer to have something about you to be on your car cause you might end up selling the c55 and getting sl55 so a c related plate on an sl55 would be pretty lame. I plan on using this plate on whatever car I buy next. Also having your name on your car is pretty cool I think. and also names to be on plates is a popular thing so if you can score a plate with your name I think thats pretty cool. Good luck to you on your decision.

I generally find them tacky, and I think Virginia probably has more per capita than anyone. However, I did see one on a Corvette C5 Z06 that said "GLUMAKER" in reference to killing Mustangs that I thought was hilarious. Of course at the time I was also driving a C5 Corvette

"NOT SCED" "FST KRAUT" "NO MODS" "WTF BBQ" "OMG BBQ" "54 M113"
personally not much of a fan of personalize plates unless they read something really funny such as "4 PMS" alone with plate frame "1 wife, 3 daughters" on an S55.

I've also been debating if I want to go the custom plate route. I much prefer the clever ones vs the generic crap everyone uses. Hummers are so easy to work with, I really liked this one - "YES PLZ" directly above a large HUMMER with a ? painted on the end of the bumper.
It's hard to be clever on our cars w/o coming across as a *****. Douchebaggery seems to have run rampant on BMW/Benz/Lexus custom plates....
I kind of like "4CD FED" or "GOT AMG", but I dunno.
