Yeah, it was nice to meet everyone and see all the beautiful cars together.
Sorry I couldn't stay for lunch.
I was thinking maybe next time we have a camera man at the bottom of Lombard street while we all drive down it, kinda like his photo:

... are always a good time.
SF Meet and Drive II
Excellent turnout. Even through inclement weather. Beautiful restaurant with world class views of the Pacific. We had nine excellent cars show up!
The drive went perfect. Hit some great locations. Lots of hills. Lots of high speed runs!
Be there for the San Francisco Meet and Drive III coming in a few months. This time I hope the sunshine doesnt scare anyone away.

Hey guys, missed it from being too hung over from drinking and clubbing. The cellar is pretty cool lol. I think I saw 3 of you driving on union...blacked out c55 and 2 w204's...think one was at least azn_c300's. If you saw an asian dude riding in a black civic riding with a girl pointing at your cars it was me lol

Damn. Didn't see this...woulda totally been up for a drive up the coast to SF.
Next time, while posting here, post to each forum, and link it back to here.
I only check the C class forum typically.
As it was I did a drive through Bonny Doon, out to the coast, back the same way, haulin'
****.

Ok, here are the pics. I've cleaned up some of the cars (eliminated water spots, rock chips, front license holes, dirt), but after doing a few that needed a lot of TLC, I got tired and decided to call it a night :p Enjoy

For future meets, it would be good to create a thread directly in the "events and gathering" section. Also, for those who haven't already done so, here is the list of bay area members. As we did in May 2008, we used this list to PM everyone about a Nor Cal meet. It was a successful event with over 40+ Benz show up.
Here's the link to the bay area members list.

I agree, this meet wasn't really well advertised, but I think it's cause it started off as strictly a C32/C55 meet. I stumbled on this cause I'm a forum ***** and check all the categories

As for the amount of attendees. This was not meant to be a formal "Club", "MBWorld", or commercial meet. No sponsorship or affiliations. It was just suppose to be exactly what it turned out to be. If you happened to come across it on the forum board and found some interest in attending then it was there for you.
I am just a "junior" member of MBW throwing together a breakfast run. I have done these quick meets for almost 15 years and usually they are quite successful in regard to photo opportunites and cruise routes. I enjoy planning it out so that the runs end up being completed without any "hitches".
We actually did have a large group of people that RSVP'd the run. In return for this high return I planned a back up so that we would have two processions instead of one. Fortunately, the group was less then 10. This allowed me to add a few things in the run such as the corral around the reflection pool at the Legion of Honor, the ride up Hyde Street hill on the Cable Car tracks and finally the ride down the ultra steep Filbert St.
I will be watching out for the next run. Thanks for the great comments.
