02 SLK32 AMG
Hello!
I noticed there are few SLK owners who mod their engines, so if you guys don't mind, I'll hang out over here.
I recently purchased an 02 SLK32 with 18.6k miles and am looking to do some work under the hood. I pulled the trigger and ordered C3P intake, pulley, and belt wrap goodies. I am now deciding whether or not to go with the LET tune that Brandon at C3P offers. Any feedback or recommendations?
This motorsports stuff really drains my wallet. I also have an 06 Lotus Elise that I recently supercharged and tuned! That will be my track toy and the SLK32 will be my strip toy.

The tune will help. I don't think you have to worry too much about running leaned with Code3 but It will gain you a little more hp if not a lot and more wheel spin

I'm going to first dyno with the pulley, intake, and belt wrap to see what my A/F ratio and hp/torque numbers are in comparision to stock. After that, if all looks good, I will get the LET tune.

Tough part is deciding which car to **** my money away on. I'm looking to retune my Elise and put in a Fidanza flywheel and ACT clutch. The ECU flash is $600 and the clutch job is another $800 plus install.
