Wheel repair shop
Does anyone know of a good wheel repair shop around San francisco bay area (preferably south bay - around palo alto)? I've a slight curb rash, and I was wondering how much would it approximately cost to fix it? I got quoted $650 for reconditioning all 4 wheels or 185 for just 1. Does that sound reasonable? BTW they're the standard 17 5 spoke alloy AMG that originally came with the C32.

I just got my rim (1) back from Wheels Technique last Friday.
$145.00 for dent repair and curb rash refinish only and no paint job.
Results were good as it should be for $145.00.
They quoted $175.00 per rim for powder paint coating only.

That's about average for curb rash repair. It only requires sanding, liquid aluminum weld application and sanding down for painting. It could be a DIY.
Repairing dents or flat spots is a whole different process to repair.
Think Capital Equipement to recuperate initial investment $$$.
Hence, $145 - +200 for dent repairs.

Try http://www.rimrescue.com they are mobile and will go wherever you are and fix it. They are the best at mobile repair and give lifetime warranty on work.

Has anyone use this company, i have a set of 18" MONO II that need to get some minor lip repair....I heard these people are good but never dealt with them, have any of you guys had wheels repaired here?

Hello Guys
I spoke to both of them this morning.
Riteway charges 185 per wheel in walnut creek
Pacific Rim in Pittsburg charges 165 per wheel
I am thinking of shipping new tires from tirerack for them to mount and balance.
What do you guys recommend?
