Show of hands for LET pulley
I want to know how has the pulley and how long have you been running it for.
Thanks guys.
FWIW the reason I ask is because I am looking that the new E55 design and the internal balancer is a new concept in the E55 world.

20k on the 185. The pullies for the c32 have been around for approx 2 years and running strong. The crossfire guys are running them as well.
Never had a problem, except for the lack of tire tread that seems to dimish

Had their 181 pulley for a while. Now have their 185 pulley on for a few thousand miles. No problems with either, except for poor gas mileage. That's no fault of the pulley, just me enjoying the gains too much.

Had the 181mm for 6,000 miles and going strong. Just as everyone's claim, make sure you have an extra set of rear tires laying around you'll be burning rubber due to developing heavy footing on the gas pedal ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Going for 185mm in the next month or so.

My car has been in the shop since the Superbowl getting the 185 installed. 90% of the issue was the tech(s) working on my car, 10% was the part not fitting. Long story short:
The first crank pulley that arrived was way way too tight. There was absolutely no way to get it on. Called Jerry and was advised heating the pulley (with engine cooled) should allow it to slide right on. Nothing worked. He stretched another hub and shipped that to me very quickly. The new pre-stretched hub should have slid right on the crank. MB Techs went to fast, weren't paying attention and tightened the BLEEEEP! out of the pulley while not lined up with the keyway on the crank. They started the car and obviously the whole thing wobbled like crazy.
They take the pulley off again and then realize the keyway is all bent to hell and wedged in there sideways. They spent the next 2 weeks trying to pull/cut/drill everything to get the front keyway out. They finally manage to get the mangled keyway out and realize they don't have any new keys in stock that will fit mine. That arrives and then they realize they need a new seal, which also needs ordered.
And this brings us today, nearly 2 months later, the seal is supposed to arrive today and they will yet again try to get my 185 install finished up. I was promised I will have my car back today. I'm not holding my breath!
So, I've had the 185 for a couple months now and have no feedback to offer other than my benz techs are idiots and Jerry is, as always, more than willing to help and takes care of his customers.
(While the car was sitting in the shop I had them do the new rims/tires, rotors/pads, headers, tranny and coolant flush)

I too had problems getting my 185mm pulley on, heated it up and as soon as it hit the cool crank it would cool and lock solid before getting it fully on. Had to grind inside the balancer a bit to get it started. Also check the phillips head screws because mine were loose and had to tighten them up as well as adding loctite. Started her up and she was spinning true until bits of belt were flying everywhere, turns out the lower radiator hose clamp screw was touching the belt. It's hidden from view and wasn't picked up till it was too late. One to write down for future reference.
