Hey everyone, I really appreciate this forum tremendously. I sold my C55 today and it'll be going to the owner tomorrow possibly. Just wanted to say thanks for the hospitality and helpfulness. Sad to see her go but I have other dreams to keep within reach

Well I've been back and forth between selling and not selling. I honestly didn't care if I sold it. Having my father's truck and driving that mainly to keep the mileage off my car really made me appreciate the car more when I drove it. I figured it up and I put about 600 miles a month on the car.
I'll be selling some items from the car, here's a partial list....I haven't gotten the prices yet though, gotta run through my receipts.
1 - Ashtray delete
1 - CLK Grill with hood latch (Mercedes Benz Branded not aftermarket)
1 - AMG Emblem (Mario's)
2 - license plate sockets
2 - side view clear blinkers with matching stealth auto bulbs
1 - Valentine 1 radar detector
1 - First Aid Kit

Sean,
You've been a fine contributor to this forum and for that you are appreciated. As stated here already, you will be missed. Your car was an exceptional example of AMG prowess.
Now, you need to update your sig to "sold" and continue to hang out here occasionally, just for kicks.
See you around.

Trust me I'll be saving a year or two so I can put a good down payment on a Porsche.
Valentine 1 I'm not sure but used they're going crazy prices on Fleabay.

Hey Sean--
Thanks for the PM response, BTW.
Congrats again on your sale. I would definitely be interested in your Mario badge (depending on the wear) and your clear blinkers.
Let me know--hopefully I got dibs on those.
Thanks.

I'll get photos of all of my stuff for sale and get a price and post in the classifieds
PM me if you specifically have parts you want, so I don't have to post a classifieds ad if you already want the parts.

Went out to the garage today and realized she's gone. Weird to see an empty space where my beloved car went. Now I have no clue what to do with all of my cleaning supplies now. I had a routine every week of washing her. Monthly waxing and quarterly claybaring and AIO'ing. Now my schedule is off base. Towards the end I really didn't want to sell the car but I commited myself to my wife that I would since the car sits most of the time while I drive my truck.
I feel like I football season is over again and I have idea what to do....
