Well, looks like the dyno pull is postponed till tomorrow. Philip has some property in New Orleans and with all the rain we've been having, it's taking on water and flooded. Don't know how bad it is yet. I called and Ryan (shop owner) is going to let us come in on a Sunday afternoon. I have been pretty impressed with Ryan at Performance Corner thus far and it's nice of him to let us come in on a Sunday.
Any last minute guesses?lol

Long day! Once again Jerry from LET is the man taking calls on a Sunday afternoon. Big thanks to him!
The guy running the Mustang dyno wasn't computer savvy. The dyno wouldn't read the rpms off Philips car (C55) or mine when plugged into the ODBII port. Without the rpm reading we couldn't get an accurate tq reading. The the machine went out and we couldn't check AF, which is something I was very interested as it looks like I'm running pretty rich. Once I get the AF readings Jerry will retune the ECU and get things where they need to be.
At the end of the day Philips car put down a solid 289hp/292tq. My best was 342hp/337tq.
We had to get the rpm reading off a spark plug wire, but both of our tq numbers are low and Jerry confirmed it should be higher. Not sure what the deal is there but it is what it is. The readouts were almost impossible to make sense of.
The 1/4 mile run was pretty cool and according to the guy it's accurate within .10. It may be assuming traction wasn't an issue. Result....12.31 @ 111mph!haha Maybe in a perfect world. Pics attached of our readouts.
Dyno run in 3rd
Dyno redline from 0mph through 150+mph
Phillips C55 run

And for fun here is the 1/4 mile run, which we were all surprised by. Even the shop owner with an 8 sec drag truck with over 900hp. He was impressed with our baby AMGs.
12.3 @ 111mph

Hey Trevor... how come you didn't mention my 600+ HP run on the machine????? Actually, it was an erroneous reading but went off the charts.

Your numbers that did come through were very respectable for a stock run though.

A 1/4 mile run with no traction issues would be great! I had one on a mustang that had me at 11.7 LMAO....that would rule!!!

Any idea why it wouldn't give us tq or rpms when it was hooked up to the ODBII port? The shop owner is calling the Mustang gurus tomorrow to try and find out more. He said it was the first time he's never been able to get a full reading from the OBDII, and it didn't work on either of our cars....

Yup, if we could hook up off the line the same as you can on a dyno, that would be great! I will be happy with a 12.7 or less at the track in real world conditions.

IF the dyno was jacked up, I would bet your car should have put down more power (both cars for that matter) I've heard Mustang dynos being over loaded, Almost being able to simulate an uphill climes... I would seek out another dyno IMO. Sounds like the guy had bad equipment or didnt know what he was doing.
After reading your mods. I dont say this often: I believe you are making more power than the dyno was able to show. I really think you are about 15whp lower than what your car really makes.

Thanks for sharing the videos and info from your dyno runs. It was fun to hear then running hard and not be in the car for a change. The numbers your car posted were not too shabby. Both cars sound great!
