12.17 @ 117mph. video!
What a night, I'm on my way to the track and the car starts sputtering. I'm like o sht! I think I just blow my trans or something. Felt like a misfire or a stripped out something: So I call Richard at Dyno-Comp on his cell at 9pm and he drives 35min to my house (yes I turned around and made it home). to fix the problem. It turns out I had a loose connection on one of my coil packs. Hows that for customer service (Dyno-Comp rules!). Friday night and the Owner of the shop hops in his car and comes to me to fix the problem.
Thanks to Richard at Dyno-Comp I make it to the track by 10pm...Evan can attest that the track was in bad shape, Evan (cruzinquick) who never spins his tires was spinning of the line.
Evan can confirm the DA was around 2300ft??? I laid down a 12.17 @ 117mph. With gobbs of wheel spin. I was coming out sideways at the tree and had to lift to get any traction.
With better track prep, this car can be in the 11's easy It pulls so damn hard.
I need an LSD bad its confirmed Motul diff fluid didnt help lock up this time.
Thank you Evan for the video

Nice run! Car is sounding great!
Just wanted to say that,
Wheel spin = Only affect the ET (time), the trap speed doesn't change more then a 2-3 mph if you have full traction.

I ran a pass with a nice smoky burnout with more air in the tires and had no problem getting both tires to light up. I think the added grip of the Hoosiers at low PSI were only letting one wheel spin???

What was happening is I always get two tire burnouts, it would almost fool you into thinking I have an LSD, As soon as I dropped my tire pressure to 16lbs Only one wheel was spinning causing me to get lame burnouts and bad launches.

next time out have a buddy put extra water in the box and drop pressure, the lower the pressure the more of a contact patch you will have, C55's are light in the azz man and you need a ton of grip back there, maybe switch to Mickey Thompson DR's if you can. Awesome project man, much respect.

wow def a huge difference in weight, if you can make them stick stay with them, if you cant try swapping them out for the Mickeys, Ive had good luck with the mickeys lately. Ive never used the Hoosiers so I cant comment on them.

Congrats on the runs! ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Hoosier drag radials are great tires and as you said much lighter han the mickey counterparts. I definitely want to try the Hoosiers next. I've been trying to tell people to switch to mickeys or hoosiers for along time. You either need a LSD or to get your tires really wet before starting your burnout. You need both wheels to spin and heat em up alot more than you did in that vid. Then she will hook and you will bang your head against the seat and experience a launch like never before

Wow mate, that little beastie is quick. We need to get you to a track that is closser to sealevel in the DA, lol. It ain't gonna take much to break into the 11's. Little more traction, better track prep, a couple of fat chicks in the back seat and BAM you are there. Thanks for sharing the video. Loved it.

nice runs Mike! you will hit the 11s soon! hopefully before the DA and temps rise ridiculously out here.
if you hadnt let up off the throttle and were somehow able to feather it a little more from your launch and maintain traction, 11s would have happened IMO
