New Mustang Dyno Run - 341hp/385tq
Hit the dyno again today to see if I could get some usable numbers for Jerry to fine tune my ECU and had good results. Best pull was 341hp/385tq and lowest run was 336hp/373tq with all being relatively consistent.
All this time I was thinking I was running rich when in reality it was just due to my headers being lose (details covered in an earlier thread). I now have a lean spot toward redline where it drops into the 12s. I see this as good news since everyone seems to agree these beasts like to run on the rich side and should bring out a few more ponies once Jerry works his magic. All graphs and my ECU will be going back to him shorty and will then re-dyno after she's dialed in.
Just for fun hit the 1/4 on the Mustang with a 12.14 @ 113.8mph (previous was a 12.3@111mph I believe). I wish that was an actual track number! Either way I'm happy with the results and was happy to see there is still room for improvement in the tune.

good #'s for the mods-does the CP3 intake restric any air flow up top when the SC is fully spun? I wonder if you're getting enough air in there (or fuel-bigger injectors/fuel pump?)-either way-good stuff for a V6!

Hey Trevor, sorry I wasn't able to join you. Did they get the OBDII to interface with the computer properly this time?

Now would be a good time for you to get your ECU tuned. You can throw it in the same box with mine when I overnight it out if you like.

There has been a lot of talk about the need for bigger injectors and/or pump or not. I use Jake as the benchmark. If he doesn't need them, the rest of us 32 guys surely don't. He has ever bolt on out there and then some....

I wish I could... taking the car to Craig at MB dealer Monday for some front repairs. Remember the plastic cover we pulled off? They are getting me a new one under warranty but in the interim, my wife hit a curb or something and snagged the wire harness. The temp sensor and foglight connector harness is gone... don't even see where it came from, the foglight wires hanging down under the front. She told me Friday "something is wrong... it says foglight or something and the temperature is -41 degrees". I saw the wires hanging and asked about that and got back an "oops". She and I have had a discussion about low ground clearance. The old C320 didn't sit as low.

Yup, smoked LEDs are on and looks great. Sorry to hear about the damage but glad they are going to cover it at least. While your car is in the shop waiting for repairs is the perfect time to send your ECU in. 3 day turnaround since they overnight it back. I will continue to be the devil on your shoulder....lol

Yeah... I know, you are. Not leaving it there tomorrow. They are going to figure out what parts need to be ordered. Will put it in the shop when the parts come in. Unless someone wants to buy a house from me, I won't have any extra play money for a few weeks. Gotta get new tires for my ML500 which is gonna cost about a grand.

Finally got around to scanning the sheets in. Take a look at my AF. Feedback welcome.
I will be out of town on business next week but when I return my ECU and hard copies of these graphs will be on their way to Jerry.

Good idea. Try again...
This last graph is recorded from the 1/4 mile run at the bottom.

So I take it these A/F ratios are straight from your tailpipe? I heard AFR's from there tend to look really goofy, but Jerry can make sense of it since he's been doing this for so long already on C32's.
I was going to do the same as you and get some AFR's from a dyno run and send it back for retuning, but since LET is coming out in May, I'll just be careful and wait for them.
Good luck brother.

This looks like what I'm feeling in my car. High RPM's, way too lean.

Love the car
Have you ever ran the car at the track? It would be cool to know what kind of numbers it would run. I would think mid 12's maybe with sticky tires?

for this thread, because I noticed Silver's HUGE Dynojet results in his sig., but don't recall seeing the dyno chart for it - care to share, when convenient? Phenomenal results BTW

They are supposed to be emailing me info. Once I have it I will post for sure. The Mustang numbers are the accepted "real" numbers. Dynojet is just for fun and to see the difference between the two dyno's. After I have the new exhaust installed (Weltmeister) I plan on hitting the dynojet again. Not that I expect to see any gains from it, just curious. Plus I want to bring Phil, another guy on the boards here with a 55 that dyno'd his the first time I went to the Mustang dyno, and see the difference in his numbers as well. I'll also take new videos of the run to show the new exhaust.

Any plans to track it this year?
