Did you pull the chrome trim off the hood it self to get the top to fit that well? Looks good!

These look a lot better than the OEM style grille. I would go for it.

Are you still looking for one? I have the grille you're looking for. I had taken off of my c55 that I sold a few months ago. I paid $400 brand new from the Benz dealership. I thinking around $250. I'll also post it in the classifieds but thought I ask you just in case...

there is no aftermarket grille for C55. you just use the OEM grille from CLK if you want to get the star grille as shown by others.

That is right FrankW. The grille I got was originally for the CLK but it fits perfectly in C55s as well.

True but remeber you have to replace the hood latch with CLK one.
