I DON'T COME HERE ANYMORE
Yep-Beating a dead horse in here

I've tried 7 different freaking ways to reset the service A indicator on my MY06 C55-not one works. I used the "great" search fuktion here on the forum (more then once, and with various words, ect) and found 7 that are at least close/claim to be verified by others.
I spent an hour in my car this afternoon (its nice here in MN right now, getting cloudy tho)-to no avail.
Could someone please post a link to a verified this is where you can reset your indicator light link?
I'm starting on the manual tonight (couldnt find anything on the DVD I have either....) but really am pissed at the light every night now.
Thanks in advance, I know, I'm a newb.

It will ask you "are you sure you want to reset?" just press the reset button again and then it should say "A service due in 10000 miles" or "B service due in 10000 miles"

Alright I will check with a tech and see how to do it. I doubt you will find this in your owners manual though.

It was very simple in my '07 C230...

I just turned the igntion to the 2 position, toggled to the "Service A due in...." screen, held the tripometer reset button (the little 1/4" diameter knob looking thing that comes out of the cluster) for 3-4 seconds until the prompt on the screen came up. It says hold for 2 (or whatever it is) seconds to reset. I held it, and it went to Service B due in 13000 miles. The instructions above say to push it the second time, but you do indeed have to hold it.

I *might* have been in dyno mode, but I dont think so. I was messing around in dyno mode trying to find the oil level indicator, but it turns out they got rid of that feature on my model year.
