Scratched Wheel
Scratched my stock AMG 17" on the curb. Local (L.A.) wheel repair shop says there is no way to match the paint as the paint is only available in Europe! They say paint has lead! Anyone out there know how I can get my wheel fixed without paying a fortune?

they'll probably charge you close to the cost of a new wheel. Might as well order a new one from Tire Rack and keep the scratched one for a spare. The only place I know of is in Van Nuys/North Hollywood area. I forgot the name though.

Actually, it was TRUWHEEL that told me that the paint is not available here in the U.S.
I'll keep trying and let you know.
