It is a gas heater that pre-heats your car without starting it. Heats the engine and the inside of the car on a cold day. It even defrosts the windows so you come out to a warm car on those cold mornings. It works with either a switch on the center consol, a timer on the instrument cluster (three times can be entered), or by a remote control. It is fully intergrated into to the car climate control and electrical system. I am still waiting for some trim pieces and to finish the harness. Then I can get programing done to make it all work.

I haven't seen a block heater that defrosts the windshield and heats the inside of the car why my co-workers are scraping there windshields. And I could do a lot of things like taping a e-trex to my windshield with duct tape to add GPS, but I like the factory look and function.
