nice vid rarely there's any clean video of C32 anymore lol.

I would've thought the 6.0L GTO be faster vs just the code3 pulley, but you also took out the secondaries that probably made the difference there.

i was under the impression that deleting the secondaries was just for sound and not power? and then you would only see gains from the secondary cat delete and a res delete once headers are added?

the 6.0 GTOs are just too heavy.....the weight is the only difference. my buddy has a LS1 camaro (basically stock at the time, lid and catback, granted it is a factory freak) and when i had a pulley and intake, we were dead even, but i would pull on 6.0 GTOs all the time

I wish I could take a trip to Arizona and run jturkel and get a comparison between the two setups on video, I'd love to see how the 185 runs. I'll have to get one eventually I know it's a whole nother ball game with one of those.

well....come fall, say october, i'm sure a bunch of us local guys like Mike and I as well as some other members in the E55 forum with some ridiculously fast cars (like chiromikey's) as well as some srt6s might all have a drag/track day. we had one last yr and had a ton of benzes show up. couple guys from Cali too if i remember correctly. you should come down if/when we have another meet! we actually have a huge video compilation (thanks to Mike as usual) of all the races, including the modded E55s, M5, and SL65 AMG.

Sounds like a great time, the S2000 should be finished by the end of august, hopefully I'll have a couple more mods by then. Will definetly try and make it out there. I just got a PM from a guy on my local forum and he got a stock C63 and wants to run. I know I'll get demolished but I'll try to get it setup and on video. Will be a fun race nontheless.

That would be a fun roadtrip if the C32 is alive by then.

TPS? throttle position sensor and a weak top end? well i guess the top end of any of our c32s would be weak compared to your Z06 lol.....or are we being relative between c32s?

ive had the 185 since middle of march....love it....just getting a lot of heat right now with this ridiculous summer weather and need to get it resolved ASAP....just really busy with mcat studying and having hard finding time to work on the car and getting stuff done

i was under the impression of taking off the secondaries can free up some HP even without the headers.

It has a relatively weak top end compared to other C32's. Yeah the Z is a friggin beast man! But the C is totally different car and I love it for what it is, just wish I had it from the start.

Good luck with the med exams, I heard some scary things about getting into med school and I wish you the best.

C32 vs GTO

V6 Kraut Wagon vs 6.0 liter GTO - Looks like them Bavarian Horses must be bigger and badder than the Goat's. I busted another LS2 Z/28 a week or so ago at the drag strip. Beat him by about 2-3 tenths of a sec. I was running the same setup as the silver C-Klasse without the resonator delete but that is not worth much if anything in power anyway. It was really hot out so the trap times were no better than last year but the DA corrected time was a 13.2

nice kill! i think camaros only have LT1s or LS1s though unless it was a swap, or a new one, which has an LS3.

not me......didnt have a problem though. i know what you speak of has been a problem in the past. i've read it in old threads....if there is a bad connection or they are loose, car may idle funny and run weird. i think there is a DIY somewhere in here that i followed.
