The MPG gods were good to me today
The sweet spot in the RPM range is just below the the 2500 rpm hash mark. That should give you plenty of speed (66-70 mph). Keeping it right below that hash mark gets the best economy with my 18" wheels and A/C on.
yah below 2500 rpms seems to be the trick. the highway here kills me. its 75, which is when my s/c is engaged. if only this were a 6speed.

I'm getting really tired of buying $1500 worth of PS2's every 9000 miles. I've made it a mission to make the next set last at least 15000 miles. Part of making them last is being easy on throttle and utilizing the least amount of torque to get you moving. The reward for that behavior is slightly better mpg.
I doubt my good intentions will last. I'm a C32 addict and will relapse soon into high torque jaunts.
