a car that can't do the throttle reset.
any north jersey indy shop recommendations?

Would love to find a good indy shop in northern nj. I have tried some places, and have left feeling like i was better off having a blind cat do the work.

Is Dunellen too far?
Although no longer a sponsor here, I’ve heard TVT Design does good work.

For the last 4 years I have been fixing my C32 at Bergen Imports in Cliffside Park. 201-943-2915 Ask for Harry. Super guy. What are you looking to do to you car?

Hard to answer a question if "jersey" is your location. What you want done would help, too.

I've used both Bergen and TVT before, and both were good shops. Bergen does great bodywork.

Thanks! Will keep it in mind for like you said, major work. Its two hours from me, so I don't think I can make it my place for usual maintenance.

Nice. Thanks. He knows his stuff? How are the prices?

Nothing specific yet. But plan on making the move from dealership to a good indy shop. I have brakes, pads and rotors coming up on my 32 so that would be a nice place to start.

Ok - I'm in Westwood - TVT's about 45 minutes. Nothing directly by us that would be an all-inclusive shop that would be able to handle all of your needs, unfortunately. It's kind of a deadspot for decent shops.

Yeah, I have tried a ton of places and found nothing good. TVT is the way to go? How are the prices? Real knowledge?

Yes, Anthony (TVT) did my C32 brake install, did it right, and was at a very good price too.

He's basically a one-man shop, so he wouldn't be the person I'd go to for say, a/c overhaul or fixing the sunroof, but he's very good at performance upgrades, does LET tuning, etc.

Almost forgot - have had Bell's (Ridgewood Ave, behind Fashion Center off Rte 17) work on my car as well. Very sh*tty customer service, imho, but they definitely know what they are doing, and service all years.

We like engines, brakes, and suspension. All the other stuff bores me, but we'll do it anyway.

And yes I have to send in my renewal for the sponsorship. The money keeps coming out though...

Nice. Thanks will definitely check them out.

I have gone to Bells on my old 36. I don't know man, they seem like a specialty shop of older benzes from the 80's.

Be careful at TVT. Nature calls and all he has is a toilet in the middle of the parking lot. No privacy, no paper, no water even.

Haha, we have a real toilet now. Sink, seat, and paper. Even some good reading material.

Since when has a public deuce even slowed you down for a second?

Anthony (TVT) is a good, knowledgeable guy. I would take my car to him.

Try Jorge & Jack In Clifton. They are off RT 46. This is a Good shop, they even have star diagnostic and prices are fair.
