Didn't spec out my C32, just bought it off the lot, straight trade for my M3.

Thursday, through Mercedes of Greenwich, CT, we are getting a complete BiXenon kit installed..

Hate the frosted looked non xenon lights, can't wait for the new ones. I am also getting a flat style emblem just like the one my dad has on his CL.

Here is the Kenwood system we just got installed.

I think 2 grand or something, I don't know..

I think we have to sign some agreement, maybe, saying that if they break, they aren't warrantied or something? Not sure..

Its an easy install, body shop could have done it, but why not let a reputable Benz dealer do it. They have to do the XENON PRESENT on the Computer, also.

Two grand (if its even that, Ill ask my dad) isn't bad for such a sweet setup.

Looks awesome with lights off, amazing wiht lights on at night, and its such a safety feature.

Plus, you can sell the old lights on Ebay for a good amount.

is that kenwood system hooked up to your stock head unit?

or are they independent of one another?

thanks

Totally independent, its insane..

Basically, you have to turn the Satellite Radio on using a hidden switch, then put the Mercedes Headunit at 89.9 FM. Then, depress parking brake, hit open, and the screen flips up, and you have full Satelitte Radio.

You can listen to Local Stations through the Mercedes head unit and still use DVD Navigation through the Kenwood.

Its insanely sweet.

Not if you could get the same style (new and OEM) lights for HALF that price...and even in euro spec which have an even better (and safer) light pattern...

Where and how?
The Euro spec. bi xenon? There is such a thing? How do I get them here in the U.S. More specifically, L.A.? You have them on your car? I'd love to get them, if the're reasonable.

Evosport was $17**, which was just shipped to me.

This is 2,000, installed, everything..Plus, new emblems.

I looked into the Euro ones and contacted the guy, they were 1000 I believe, but had minor scratches. I would rather have the perfect setup and pay a little more.

Car comes home tonight at 11, can't wait.

Got ride of the Star Emblem and got a Flat one.

I've got a set of Bi-xenons which don't have any flaw or scratches on them from probably the same GUY that replied your email
In most cases the scratches (if any) are very hard to notice. For almost 1/2 price from what you've paid, it is definitely worth it, you'll save the money for other mods....unless money don't really concern you.

I have an 02 C32 that came with Xenons. The dealer installed the Bi-Xenons for $1750. I feel it was worth the money. The high beems on a backroad are great.

Why'd you keep the stock head unit?
Just so you could listen to radio and have navi at the same time?

Audio guy didn't want to mess with a already decent Mercedes headunit.

The setup is complex, I am going to post some better pics and explain it later today.

Most of the people on mbworld who did the bi xenon upgrade paid half of 2000USD for their complete headlights...so I have heard...
