I havent received the rotors yet, but, I went thru brakeperformance.com. You have many choices...R1 concepts, brakeperformance, Zimmerman,...alot on e-bay. Many folks have done it.

Dont forget the 60/40 rule. I would do 6 pot up front, 4 in rear. Or 4 pot in front, 2 in rear, which is stock, and so on. Most of the braking is done with the front.

2019 AMG C43
Are there any problems that can arise from running the same setup front and back(ie: install a set of stock front breaks/rotors on the rear)

So you kept the front stock and installed the rear break system from a clk55? Was it a direct fit or did you have to modify anything

From what I have seen you do have to trim the rear brake hub to take the new caliper.

Corrected I meant the dust shield, dont cut your brake hub.
Forgive me as I'm still shocked over spending $10 for that POS film, Bruno

2002 C32 AMG
I just installed a pair of drilled SL500 Silver Arrow rear rotors on my C32 last weekend. The ones I bought are Zimmermans. There are two differences between the Silver Arrow rear rotors and the C32 rear rotors.

1) The Silver Arrow rotors are drilled
2) The SL500 uses 14mm lug bolts as opposed to the C32 which uses 12mm lug bolts.

I will post a picture later. I was worried about this at first but figured I'd run them for a bit before I commented. Even on the stock rear rotors the lug bolt holes in rotor are larger than the lug bolts themselves. The torx screw that attaches the rotor ensures the holes in the rotor are concentric with the holes in the hub to allow you to easily install and remove the wheel etc. In the stock C32 rotors there is enough clearnace between the holes in the rotor to the lug bolts for me to assume the rotor is not bearing against the lug bolts during braking. If it was the case, the torx screw would be sheared the minute you jammed on the brakes.

I'll post a pic tonight and show you what I mean.

They completely suck.
They used to sell dimpled rotors exclusively which are fake x drilled rotors. I thought they were real. They adverstised them as x drilled with a little tiny disclaimer that they were dimpled. I returned them with shipping and 20% stocking on my dime. I filed a dispute with paypal citing deceptive advertising and bait and switch.

In the middle of the claim they statred to sell real x drilled rotors. They update their website and told Paypal I had the option to buy real x drilled rotorrs, which made me look like an idiot. They are a bunch of real dicks and i wouldnt buy any of their products again.
