C32 AMG
84K miles, 2002
replaced plugs/wires (more for performance measures though), oil obviously, two i/c pumps, motor mounts, tranny mount, both seat modules, new supercharger (whole setup, long/funny story), muffler (rusted when purchased), countless problems with the steering wheel motor/mechanism, and a problem that no one has yet to figure out: some weird ticking noise i get that i generally hear in colder weather that increases in frequency with increasing speed. i think something is rubbing on the driveshaft but i couldnt find anything lol.....i'm sure i have the complete list somewhere. thats off the top of my head. i've had problems with the windows and the A/C making some weird clicking noise. no problems for the past year (and thats without warranty too!). apparently i got most of mine out of the way

I have 63k miles today bought it exactly two years ago with 34.5k miles. I just replaced CPS, engine, and transmission mounts That's pretty much it beside regular maintenance items. I love driving it.

I hit my big milestone last night; finally turned 100,000 miles.
I bought the car in 2006, with 47,000 miles on the odometer. It has been the most reliable car I've owned....so far.
I fully expect to drive it until the wheels fall off.
God Bless the C32.

I have posted previously, I am on intercooler pump #3 [#1 quit just after I got it, #2 developed a leak - I suspect due to the neanderthal that installed it, #3 is either not or barely running right now...]
I also have some bushing or joint on the front end squeaking pretty good. the local MB stealer quoted more than the purchase price of the car to fix when I got my last oil change, but I haven't taken them up on it.
On original plugs and wires and at 140k they looked fine and the car runs good.
Am up to about 25 k miles per set of rears, but only by having the tire shop physically flip the tires on the rims every 5k. I've put 10 sets of rears on this car so far... [only the third set of fronts, not counting 2 sets of snow tires.]
I'm sure I am forgetting stuff...
I am catching you...

What was the front end issue that they beat you up on?
What tire isn't undirectional on our cars? And impressive work on the fronts. I get inside tire wear so I am nowhere near as lucky.

Intercooler #1 was because the previous owner was like 80 or so, #2 was because when they replaced #1 I think the gorilla used an impact gun to tighten the hose clamps - well, probably not literally, but I had a slow coolant leak they never could isolate for 6 months before the housing cracked and dumped my antifreze on the road, requiring #3. #3 has lasted me 70k miles and has only recently started cutting out.
Apparently some bushings are worn and they quoted me what seemed like the entire front suspension as the fix...
I have been buying the Fierce brand tires [mostly, when they were available] the Instinct ZR. It's asymetrical but not really directional, and they seem to run fine backwards. They are on the soft end of the cheap tires and really grip pretty good.
They last about 80% as well as the high $$ tires, and cost 1/4 as much, so if I spend $2k on tires a year, I get 4 sets of instinct's or 1 pair of Yokahamas and net, my car spends alot more miles on new tires than if I was using the hi $$ tires that would have to last...

16Vs, 190 SL, G, SLK, CLS, E, C Black Series, SLS
New version front thrust arms 120k, Alternator at 150k, supercharger belt tension pulley bearing 230k, fuel pump at 250k, small radiator pin leak just started @ 270k (time to replace all the hoses as well). Cats pass smog, but I want to replace them anyways cause its time. I have replaced the transmission and engine mounts twice. Spark plugs replaced twice as well. Always maintained with factory parts by myself after 100k warranty expiration. Never compromise anything... OEM parts only

Yeah, the dealer takes you for a ride when it comes to them bushings. The estimates are the best, labor is always a ton more than parts.
Never heard of "Fierce" brand tires. Sounds like they aren't made anymore.

Almost 106,000 when mine sold today. Its 3rd owner got a fully sorted and properly enhanced C32 imho.
It’s been a good run…I'll catch up with you guys down the road.
