If I was ever going to sell it I would be worried about value. Worse yet, it's back in storage for the past 6 weeks, not on the street again until April '11.

I too am among the "****" about miles, BUT the point is, we all "save" our cars by not driving them and turn around and sell or trade them in for some other guy to enjoy and put the miles on. In the grand scheme of things, 10,000 miles difference on an MB will only save you about $500 at trade in. Thus the reason I say "drive it and enjoy it."

My C32 has 240,000 miles. Replaced transmission @120,000 or so. Cup holder is a mess. Arm rest on drivers side worn through where I put my elbow. Window switches failed. Something that had to do with supercharger temp failed long ago. Basically, it has been a wonderful car. Oh yeah, at the moment the SRS light is on and the transmission is acting a little funky.

Maybe time for E63 or C63.

Drive it like you stole it and ride it until the wheels fall off.

Before i posted my problems i wanted to go back through the "log" I keep of all my maintenance records...

1. Routine oil change every 5,000 miles.
2. Coolent flushes every 45,000 miles.
3. Brake fluid flushes every 50,000 miles.
4. DIY Auxilary port install.
5. Upgraded from standard Audio 20 to Audio 50 Comand system.
6. I had a problem with the sunroof interior panel coming off the track, thus requiring me to remove the entire interior headliner and refit the sunroof interior.
7. Front driver and PAX side speaker vibrations during certain heavy bass frequency's. I found the cause of this to be from the window control units in the door panels being somewhat loose in their housings. I resolved this by removing the door panels and applying a sticky black tar-like substance in the grooves between the regulator and the interior trim. I also bought dynamat and lined the interior of the door panels with it. This reolved the vibration and also made the sound quality in my opinion greatly improved.
8. The center armrest in the front pops off from time to time and you simple have to reinstall.
9. I have bent 2 rims on 2 seperate massive trench like pot holes and had to have them re-shaped and refinished, I do not recall the price.
10. Various light bulbs have burned out of course and seeing as my car does not have xenon's I have gone through 2-3 sets of low beam headlamps.
11. Brakes of course have been done as needed.
12. I really have not had any other problems with my car and I consider myself truly lucky. I think of my AMG as my baby and while I drive the S**T out of her I perform all necessary maintenance and then some! I love my car and hope to get atleast 250,000 miles out of her! If anyone has any service advice or recommendations please let me know I am always open for any tips from fellow MB fanatics

Picked up my 03 C32 in June '09 with 43k miles. Threw the 185mm pulley, tune, shorty headers, and johnson pump on at 44k miles. And now I'm at 53k miles, coming up on the 10k service interval.
