How many miles does your C32/C55 have?

How many miles does you C32/C55 have? My car has about 127,000 miles on it.

Also what kind of maintenance and parts have you had to replace at the amount of miles that you are at currently. So far my car has been pretty good and what ever problems I had before were covered under warranty. I thought about doing this thread after hearing what happened to frankw's car and I wanted to see what kind of things every one is replacing as them mileage in their car goes up.

I've done all of the maintanence on my car. The only problems I have now is the lack of accelartion at times, think it might be the intercooler pump, I keep getting the low coolant/windshield wiper fluid light, my alarm goes off randomly, the pogo stick problem on one of my locks, and the remote not function further than a couple of feet. Other than that, the car is doing good.

I've replaced the cps and the bearing for the sc pulley and that's all that I have had to really do with the car. Had a weird issue with the turn signals coming on and off with my car, but it was taken care of by the warranty. I don't know if the plugs and wires have been changed on my car, but that might be the next step. Still do not have any engine mods. I have the star grill conversion, the hood opener broke, I've heard that it can be replaced by one from the w211, any body confirm this?

Maybe I'm confused but, you put 60k miles on your car in less than a year?

My car is a 2002 by the way.

a car that can't do the throttle reset.

about 39k.
a ton of little stuff.
biggest thing would probably be the ic pump.

Curious, what was the issue and for the turn signals?

And get that fluid/coolant light thing checked out.

Just about to turn 80K on the odometer.

I have replaced the IC pump about 25K ago. Front Thrust arm bushings were replaced once and are going out again.

Alternator went out about 12K ago.

Replaced all four rotors and pads.

Swapped out the idler pulley preemptively. That is pretty much it.

Current Miles: 49,927

Below is the list of issues I had resolved and covered under warranty:
1. Small transmission oil leak. (This seems to be a common problem experienced by C55 owners)
2. Engine hood pad tear along right side. Replaced with new engine pad that included a heat shield above the oil dip stick.
3. Teleaid malfunction "Drive to Workshop" error. Replaced antennae
4. Updated Comand navigation software. New software is suppose to optimize the nav functionality.
5. Center armrest was starting to peel. My service advisor said he would replace it if it got worse, but I used Armor all wipes and it seemed to fix the peeling problem.
6. HID igniter of left headlight failed to ignite HID bulb. Module was replaced by more up-to-date igniter.
7. "Battery/Alternator - Drive to Workshop" error. Voltage regulator, alternator, and battery replaced.

I've been thinking about selling the C55 and upgrading, but it's a fun car and recently paid off.
I still enjoy driving it so might keep it for a while longer

I think they said that some thing was improperly grounded, don't remember exactly. It was the most annoying problem and I was worried the cops would stop me.

and I thought I was a high mile car. Seems that we all have been problem free, besides a couple quarks here and there.

I wonder if frankw ever got his car fixed? I seriously would not want to go through the same thing. Hope every thing gets better.

Same issues as listed above, all covered under OE and aftermarket warranty, including:
1. Small transmission oil leak around the multiplug and seal to engine;
2. Both valve cover gaskets replaced;
3. My engine hood pad is torn as well -- still have to get it fixed;
4. Updated Comand software. New software installed to fix radio and cd malfunciton;
5. Had cup holder replaced due to chip;
6. Headlight flickering problems: HID igniter and ballast of both headlights and headlight electronic controler replaced;
7. "Battery/Alternator" error. Voltage regulator replaced;
8. Driver's seat replaced twice, broken again (seat heater broke);
9. Tel aid emergency button replaced;
10. Rubber seal around trunk replaced as well as the lateral acceleration sensor;
11. Fuel pump/sender/filter replaced due to slightly clogged filter;
12. Auxillary drive belt replaced;
13. Steering wheel adjustment motor and transmission replaced.

Oil, oil filter, cabin filter, tranny fluid, spark plugs, air filters I did myself along with other small mod's.

Generally, the car has been great, reliable and fairly indestrucdtible but for the driver's seat and couple of electrical gremlins.
