How many miles does your C32/C55 have?
#27
84K miles, 2002
replaced plugs/wires (more for performance measures though), oil obviously, two i/c pumps, motor mounts, tranny mount, both seat modules, new supercharger (whole setup, long/funny story), muffler (rusted when purchased), countless problems with the steering wheel motor/mechanism, and a problem that no one has yet to figure out: some weird ticking noise i get that i generally hear in colder weather that increases in frequency with increasing speed. i think something is rubbing on the driveshaft but i couldnt find anything lol.....i'm sure i have the complete list somewhere. thats off the top of my head. i've had problems with the windows and the A/C making some weird clicking noise. no problems for the past year (and thats without warranty too!). apparently i got most of mine out of the way

80,000 Miles
- V belt replaced
- Fuel pump / filter replaced
- Leaking rear main seal (letting it ride) ~2k in labor for a $10 part
- Valve cover gaskets leaking replaced
- Spark plugs replace... 16 spark plugs I feel bad for the v12 guys.
- Brake fluid flush
- Need new rotors soon
Other than that, I'd say the car is pretty solid. Never left me stranded or had any major machanical issues.

2005 C55
55k miles
Same issues as listed above, all covered under OE and aftermarket warranty, including:
1. Small transmission oil leak around the multiplug and seal to engine;
2. Both valve cover gaskets replaced;
3. My engine hood pad is torn as well -- still have to get it fixed;
4. Updated Comand software. New software installed to fix radio and cd malfunciton;
5. Had cup holder replaced due to chip;
6. Headlight flickering problems: HID igniter and ballast of both headlights and headlight electronic controler replaced;
7. "Battery/Alternator" error. Voltage regulator replaced;
8. Driver's seat replaced twice, broken again (seat heater broke);
9. Tel aid emergency button replaced;
10. Rubber seal around trunk replaced as well as the lateral acceleration sensor;
11. Fuel pump/sender/filter replaced due to slightly clogged filter;
12. Auxillary drive belt replaced;
13. Steering wheel adjustment motor and transmission replaced.
Oil, oil filter, cabin filter, tranny fluid, spark plugs, air filters I did myself along with other small mod's.
Generally, the car has been great, reliable and fairly indestrucdtible but for the driver's seat and couple of electrical gremlins.

On my 05 C55 i just turned over 78,000 Miles. The car is tip top other that the few minor repairs listed above (electrical), nothing major has ever gone wrong.... (knock on wood) Im still on my original rotors, second set of brakes, and way too many tires . This car allows you to throw anything you want at it, and begs for more.... i love it. IM glad to see so many other owners out there with the same situations. This was my first MB and i chose an AMG and i couldn't be made a better selection.

C32 AMG
2002 C32 with almost 55k. Things that need, or needed to be replaced -
Cup holder broken, replaced with updated version
Current issue, headlight flickering problems: HID igniter and ballast, possible headlight electronic controller replacement
Battery replaced
Driver's seat replaced (seat heater broken and killed battery replaced above)
Front control arm (or something like that) replaced twice. Still squeaking and not right.
Infamous tranny jerk had over $5k in warranty work done replacing parts and STILL have the same issue. Now live with it.
Tranny will be flushed again after I go over 60k miles. Fluid and most of my tranny is all new as of ~20k miles ago when they were troubleshooting the tranny jerk with new parts.

Just bought my 02 C32 in the beginning of July. It has 23k on it. Have since replaced the secondary air pump and relay. That is it for now...hopefully.

119,000K 2003 C32
had it since 30k miles
got it in 2006 for $27k
Besides TIRES TIRES TIRES,
Replaced serpentine belt just for maintainance,
Likes to secretly make coolant dissapear from god only knows,
S/C bearing just went.
Other than that, she still purrs beautifully and can still giddy up like always. I plan on runnin her to 200k easy.

Its pretty much always had a little loss. God help me when i took to mercedes underwarranty and they supposedly "Replaced" a part of which name escapes me at the moment, to stop the slow leak. Didnt do a damn thing. It was something like a fan of some sort. My bad to be such a dim bulb on that, its been like 2 years. How can I check to see if my tranny is contaminated? or for that matter if my intercooler is leaking?
and thanks for your insight so far!

2002 C32 AMG
2002 C32, 70,000 miles (112,000 km)
PO had the infamous radiator leak, new transmission at 50,000 km
Stuff I've had to have replaced since I bought the car with 93,000 km on the odometer..
Rear seatbelts (wtf) (95,000 km)
Front bushings (110,000 km)
I just got a green light on some warranty paint work, rust from the inside on gas cap, left rear panel and trunk. Going to have the entire front end including roof painted at the same time (albeit not under warranty) because of rusted stone chips. Not very impressed with the quality of the C32's body.
