Don't add to much oil

If you Don't know how to change your oil DON'T DO IT. customer changed the oil and added 8gal of oil . the oil was filled up to the oil cap. he started the enging and will it bent all 6 rods i will take more pic when i get to work tomarrow. hear is a preview.

what.... 8 Gal ..... WTF.... well least we know how much out engines can hold if filled to to the top.

They put 32 quarts of oil in there??!!

Usually when I buy 9 quarts of synthetic the auto parts people ask me what it's going in...

I wonder if anyone even blinked an eye out of curiosity when this person purchased 5+ cases of oil!

wow. I just changed mine last night....pulled just under 7l out....put 7.5 (++/-) qts back in.....who would spend $200+ on oil?!

Good point, the cost alone should have waived a flag, and the counter help is usually curious.

Makes me feel alot better about blowing mine up with a meth/H20 kit mishap..

Wait, how the hell do you put 8 gallons of oil in your car, maybe he thought it was suppose to be 8 quarts. That's freaking 32 quarts of oil, he must have been there for 20 minutes pooring oil.

i have a rod on my desk at work with the pin welded to it. i stuck my business card holder to it with ultra gray maybe the owner thought it was a DT466? they hold 8 gallons...hahahaa

Not if you buy your oil at walmart like I do. The counter people have no clue and can barely work the register to begin with.

Holy sheat!~ Look at those conn-rods! Maybe dude should have paid attention in second grade.....8 gallons, 8 quarts, ahhhh sounds about the same!

PS.....Petro-Jell will not ease this guys pain. 20K might as well go buy something else to go play with.
