Nav retro fit into non-nav car
Can you put a oem nav system into a non nav car? Trying to find the perfect car and one I am looking at does not have nav. Thanks!

i dont have nor use nav, so i'm really not sure what to recommend. my parents use to have nav on their MB and it was just awful, as were most of the navs that came around during the 32/55 era. not sure how the new ones are, but i would stick to an aftermarket one. i think my parents have a Magellan which they seem to like.

I agree with everyone regarding the quality of the OEM Nav. But to answer your original question, yes, it can be done and has been done. You will also need a GPS antenna that goes under the dash.
