Cupholder, any remove and do something useful?
That flip out cupholder is pretty useless, imo. Anyone remove it and do something useful in that spot?

Hmm, interesting. I thought about just pulling everything out. But then I could be SOL when i get my starbucks! I just think that flip out one stinks. I thought someone would have something cool in that spot.

I kind of want to take it out, so I can store the ipod easier instead of cramming it between the sliding cover and the cup holder.

the only time I use cup holder is going through drive-thrus, but usually I just get food without drinks unless I got nothing in the fridge to drink.
I kind of want to take it out, so I can store the ipod easier instead of cramming it between the sliding cover and the cup holder.

I removed the pop-up cup holder and just use the bin for storage, and it still holds one drink. I'd love to add a second power point in place of the ashtray (which I also removed). The console in the first post is pretty sweet. Anybody have an idea of the price?

I like that too.. but unfortunately there are holes where the cupholder use to be. Holes on the bottom, and on the side that lead right into the shifter area. I know its almost impossible, but my OCD has me too scared to leave those holes open like that.

It's pure functionality rather than aesthetics. I take with me my home brew coffee in a 12 oz. paper cup lidded every morning to work. I put my iphone to the left where the cubby hole is. Perfect. Too bad there's only one cup holder. I rarely fold the cup holder back in.

i wish as well. sometimes i have to use the backseat cupholders if it wont fit in the front. and then if that doesnt work, then i'm ***** out of luck and hopefully have a friend in the car to hold it for me lol
