How much can the stock supercharger with aftermarket pulley make reliably on stock C32 engine?

with the mods in my sig (minus the headers) i'm putting down 350whp and 359wtq on a lower reading than normal dyno dynamics. on ARIZONA 91 octane, which has been tested to be closer to 88. and in 85 degree weather.

you can definitely make some power with these things.

Yeah, but IMHO you're misrepresenting a bit - that certainly wouldn't be an "average" result. "Pulley and tune can approach 400 rwhp" - LOL... wish it were that easy. 350 rwhp would even be on the high side of what's reasonable for a "pulley and tune" car, with 325-330 rwhp even being a very realistic result.

Most M112 Kompressor cars dyno in the 280-290 rwhp range when stock, at best... yours is atypical in that it's a solid 10-15% stronger than what's average. Three questions, just out of curiosity - what type of dyno did you run on, have you ever entertained the idea of dynoing somewhere different, and do you plan to obtain track data (ETs and trap speeds) to confirm/validate your dyno results?

its possible to get close to 400whp on a dynojet. I'm assuming that he's stating, since most people compare dyno's a on a dynojet. I believe silveramg hit 384whp with Pulley, tune, header and code3 intake mod.

after i retune for my headers and work on my cooling issues, i will go over to a dynojet and see if i can hit 400. i bet it will be really close

Okay - but the C3P intake mod is dyno proven to add, what 10-15 hp? And headers probably add about the same? So even Silver's tremendously impressive, monster DJ run (at a dyno that he said tends to give unrealistically high numbers), you'd probably subtract out 20+ rwhp for those mods. My car ran what was considered to be "strong" stock baseline runs in the 290 range - a 181 pulley, tune, shorty headers, and K&N filters got me into the 330s... on a DynoJet both times.

Vadim's R&D on his C32 back in the early stages of C32 product development seemed to suggest that 400rwhp requires a ton of work, and ultimately isn't likely to be reliable, sustainable performance. YMMV, naturally.

You guys are missing my point that these aren't "pulley and tune" cars, but nevertheless... carry on.

Well put

and it does require ton of work.. at one point you max out the sc and it becomes the bottleneck

i dunno..maybe you ran your dyno on a really hot day or there's something wrong with that dynojet.

I hit 326whp with a code3 pulley...a really conservative tune that runs slightly rich, code3 intake, heavy 19'' wheels, not being in dyno mode and in 85degree weather. This is on a dynojet.

Since you had a 181 pulley you should be getting high numbers since your running more boost.

EazyD, your FS thread may be better off in this forum

Has anyone rebuilt these engines? Are the pistons forged or cast?

Vadim had a top mount i/c or two. i think that's where we need to go for his power with the current s/c setup

Just for comparison:
My 2002 C32 dyno'd 288 RWHP, 298 Torque on a Land and Sea.
Mods: C3 pulley, C3 air intake, IK16s and a Powerchip tune.

I've read stock C32s have about 268 thru low 270s RWHP.

fact
he had a intercooler reservoir upgrade which uses the washer fluid tank as another reservoir. no top mount intercooler. I have pretty much the same mods vadim had minus the reservoir. although vadim did took out the secondary.

I had thought about the 185mm pulley, but ultimately decide to stick with evosport's 178 kit I already have. theoretically 185 produce 3 more psi which on FI car should result some 20-30hp over the 178, but I haven't seen that to be much truth since on colder day 178 also will ran around 19-20 psi according to Splinter when he data-logged his evosport 178 kit.

185 still makes more power, but 178 at least in my opinion is a little more reliable with less heat soak issue

does anyone have dyno on w/ and w/o the secondary? on the C32?

to answer your questions my dyno was on a mustang dyno, temps inthe 70's humidity in the 50 to 60% range . 5 pulls from a low of 304 to a high of 323 hp. i would do a diff dyno but none in my area that i know of.
and lastly i hope to meet a crossfire member called goodgenes79 with his srt6 and do some 1/4 runs!! he has dual cai and c3 pulley with a wrap kit. i will have c3 and sl55 intake with a wrap kit. should be a heads up race, but i have never dragged on a track with lights so i might be my own worst enemy!!
i would like to add i never expected the numbers i got. i would have been happy with 290. but every pull was over 300 rwhp on a stock motor. if the right mods are installed i believe 350 is very doable. mabye pushing 400 was wishful thinking! but i am convinced 350 to 375 with a super reliable motor is easily within reach. try needswings and see whats available for the 3.2 s/c engine. also eurocharged and let along with tvt

Appreciate the additional info on the dyno results. If you pulled 321 rwhp stock, what did you pull with the SL55 intake and C3P S/C pulley w/ belt wrap kit (sorry if I missed it, or misunderstood)?

Look forward to hearing of your track times and experiences... and agree, 350-375 with a reliable motor is an attainable goal. Thanks again.
