considering upgrading...
to a CLS55/63 or to a C63 in a month or so.

I drove a few cars yesterday and really liked the CLS550 (amg looks package) due to its amenities and luxuries but I definitely need the AMG version of the CLS. I think the C63 is much sportier than the CLS but it just doesn't have the luxury options that the CLS has (plus I think the CLS is better looking).

Btw, also drove a SLK55 with the 7 speed and I gotta say our 5speeds are crap compared to the new 7 speeds. However, the interior on the SLK is pretty cheap and felt like a VW....hard plastic everywhere. Only nice part about the interior were the seats with the airscarf...that's about it.

my opinion?

one is a dated coupe wanna-be

one is overweight for a compact sports sedan.

I'd wait for the W212 E63 or take the M5 or M3 sedan over those two any day.

I live in a house with a 2 car garage so its always kept inside. Only my jeep sits in the driveway.

I definitely like the CLS for luxury and looks but it doesn't feel as nimble at all compared to the C class...so heavy :/
