Yeah, Linh was the one advising me to pull the trigger so I did. Unfortunately my wife should have been there with me to prevent a wasted trip back and forth.

In hindsight, I'm glad I didn't keep it since had high miles and some electrical problems when I drove it such as windows rolling down by themselves repeatedly, diagnostic lights going on and off AND a slight vibration going through the steering wheel. Wife told me passengers would feel trapped in the back seat and it did not make sense for a large luxury car to be a 2 door. I have plently of nephews and nieces she totes around when she is not using her SUV.

I'm changing my name back to AMGSC and keeping regardless of what other AMG I acquire soon. I asked the moderator Vraa for help in getting this done. I changed my name because I was so dissapointed with my luck that I was about to dump the C55 but finally decided to keep it although I'm still in the market for a great deal on these fast depreciating AMG65s since the motor is still one of the best and will be classic engine in the future.

May keep the block

Hooley's team is advising against buying the block due to past unsuccessful experiences so looks like I'm going to hand it over to my engine builder and have him bore it out to 6.1 sleeve it and will be my backup twin-turbo beast!

Meanwhile I will just drive around with the new E55 shortblock and mount the Kleemann on top until the spare 6.1 engine is ready for a TT treatment hopefully topping 1000whp?

Damn that sucks. So you're putting in a W211 E55 engine or W210 E55? Still letting Vadim work on your car? No need to bore out the motor. There is a replacement for displacement and its called boost!

Oh yea and records were made to be broken. If I didn't just purchase a new home I'd be going lowwww 10's if not high 9's on pump right now. It wont take much. Hopefully Hooley or someone else can reignite the drive in me because for now its dead.

Good to see you posting again. It's a brand new 211 E55 motor with a couple of additional reinforcements to allow for even more boost.

As for the old block, I'm going to have my engine-builder bore it out to 6.1 sleeve it before installing massive twin-turbos. This guy Mike E is a master of building mercedes engines. When it's tested, I will have two motors that I can swap back and forth with.

Don't know if my new E55 motor will break the MB record but I know my old 6.1 conversion TT will IF I can have it successfully built although this time a dedicated MB engine-builder will be doing it.

Cool. You did the right thing by getting a 211 55 engine since its been proven to work. Good luck with the other one
