Talking Recaro Pole Positions

Group:

I grew tired of my stock AMG seats, albeit, very comfortable and warm during the Winter season and replaced them in favor of some Recaro Pole Positions in (Micro) Suede Black.

The airbag sensor mat was installed properly so as to not trigger any unwanted dash "Christmas" lights too.

What do you think?
(I apologize for the poor quality pics, as the sun wasn't in my favor).

They look nice, i bet they save tons of weight ! I was planning on putting BRIDE seats fully adjustable; but, in the process selling the car now... so its a no go. Love the seats, hows the view from the low setting seats? any problems with parking?

Now thats something you dont see to much of on a Benz. I was shopping seats at one point but then gave up. Only because there are to many options and i'm indecisive.

Yeah. I am not so sure about the BS badge either. It may very well just have to come off tomorrow AM.

Yes, and Yes.
Recaro brackets/seat mounts/sliders, and stock seat belts too.

Yes. Custom embroidered MB star logos.
Weight savings = a lot. Not sure how much. Probably no less than 50lbs.

Does yours still work?? Back part only works on mine.. n stealership fixed mine like 3 times already..

I really wana get the buckets since stock seats are getting old and it's not very supportive as it used to imo

The sale of the car has been spotty at best. I blame the overall state of the economy; the 9.8% unemployment rate; the recent 260,000 job loss in Sept; and our President...
I have so much $ into this car that it would be foolish to stop spending now, right or worse yet, try and sell it at a huge loss.
The closest buyer I had was a Natl Guard who claimed he would buy the car on his return, and has since been MIA - LOL.

I am really enjoying the car, and at this stage just plan on keeping it, and driving it

If you plan on tracking her regularly, GREAT JOB., and a VERY nice touch with the air bag sensor.

If it is an everyday car, NEVER seeing the track, I would have stayed with the stock seats, just MHO.

Sorry, but I like our multi articulated HEAVY seats. Fixed seats, atleast for me, are strictly for racing use as I keep getting younger, ha, ha

Either way, Enjoy and nice job fitting them up again
